Larry Cudmore, a former Lutheran pastor, faced a life-altering battle with aggressive prostate cancer. Given just 18 months to live without immediate treatment, he defied the odds. Driven by a love for horses and a passion for helping children and adults with special needs, Larry began offering 'horse play' sessions. What started as a personal endeavor blossomed into the nonprofit organization Champs Heart. Located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Champs Heart provides equine-supported interactions for children with special needs and veterans with disabilities. Larry’s dedication, along with a team of 200 volunteers, has transformed Champs Heart into a beacon of hope, healing, and smiles. 🐴❤️
