Betfred Football Legends

We were going to call this an FA Cup 5th round special, but there's still a couple of 4th round ties hanging around: Chelsea v Everton and Man City v Notts County. And if you're worried that the magic's gone, have a chat with Moyes or Mancini and see if they'll be putting out second string squads. A few reserves could be getting a game at Old Trafford with the visit of Crawley Town, but will the non-league big spenders be able to out gun United? It would be a massive shock if they did. Manchester City legend Gary Owen is just hoping for Goals Galore, he's hoping to take Fred to the cleaners with a whopping 15 matches down on his coupon - that's 6700/1... Wonder if he'll waive his match fee!?

Cancel everything at midday tomorrow. It's the big grudge match as Manchester United meet Manchester City at Old Trafford. If (and let's face it history is on their side) United win, then they put even more clear water between themselves and the chasing pack. But form means nothing when it comes to a derby and this season things are getting very tight between the North West neighbours. Carlos Tevez returns to his old stomping ground and it would be difficult to bet against him getting on the score sheet. Let's not forget, Manchester City will have support from Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs, because 3 points lost by United will suddenly make the title wide open again. Today City legend Gary Owen casts his eye over the tie and you can probably predict which way he's going.

It's Torres v Suarez this Sunday as Chelsea and Liverpool go head-to-head after an amazing end to the transfer window. Today, David May is at Betfred HQ to guide us through this weekend's fixtures and his record could be broken if this generation's Manchester United go one more match unbeaten... Elsewhere in the Premier League, a tough match for Newcastle is going to get even tougher without the pony tail of Andy Carroll on board - that said he won't be able to help Liverpool either with injury keeping him out. All that and more on this week's Betfred Legends

Manchester City legend Gary Owen and Betfred's Rachel Casey guide us through this weekend's games, looking to see which of the FA Cup ties could cause an upset. A lot of all Premier League ties, not least Everton, who once more draw a tough opponent, this time in the form of Chelsea. Another West Midlands derby for Birmingham as Coventry make the short trip to St Andrews, while Sunday's tie between Fulham and Spurs looks a good bet for goals galore.

So many score draws last weekend, which meant another big payout on Goals Galore and this week's legend, Gary Owen, predicts more of the same, although it could be time for King Kenny to start earning points as Liverpool visit Wolverhampton. Of the top 4 Manchester City arguably face the toughest challenge. Despite Aston Villa's lowly league position, they have a new striker in Darren Bent, no doubt with some points to prove. High flying Bolton, meanwhile, have given Chelsea some scares in the past, could it be the same again, or will the wounded South Londoners get their season back on track? Predictions and more for all this weekend's Premier League ties and of course the best odds on Betfred.com
