Ep 216. Agency

Ep 216. Agency

2019-09-0600:23:022

Join me on the podcast this week to discover what other people having agency really means, and how you can flip some of the negative thoughts you have about other people’s actions. Our world would not be the same if people didn’t have agency, so it’s time we took a close look at it so we can use it in our favor, instead of thinking of ourselves as the victim of other people. Join me this week for an insight into what’s going on in my brain when it comes to self-coaching and mind-management. I really wanted to get vulnerable with you guys this week so you can see that, even though I’m the one giving the answers, that doesn’t mean all of the stuff I teach is not a problem for me as well. Ep 214. Anxiety

Ep 214. Anxiety

2019-08-2300:32:025

It’s clear to me that, with all the modern conveniences we have at our fingertips these days, our intolerance for discomfort has dropped dramatically over the past couple of decades.  Join me on the podcast this week for a frank discussion about anxiety, how it shows up for us, when we need to be concerned, and where there might be something we can do about it with a little self-coaching. Listen in this week as I provide insight as to where the work I do as a coach transcends into the scripture that I hold so dear as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. If you’re facing what seem like unjust difficulty in your life, tune in for a little reminder that Heavenly Father has your back. Ep 212. Evolution

Tune in this week to discover why I think we have a natural propensity to pull together, join forces, and make changes that help us move forward, personally and as a society. I’m sharing how you can intentionally evolve yourself to get what you want out of this life and be at ease with the discomfort of growth. Join us on the show this week as we discuss what contributes to people distancing themselves from the church and what they’re really going through. You’ll discover why questioning your faith is not the evil we sometimes consider it to be, and why, if somebody you love is going through a faith transformation or perceived crisis, that is not the end of their journey with Heavenly Father. Oftentimes, it’s just the beginning, and there are things you can do to help them through. Get full show notes and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/211

Join me on the podcast this week as I explain my stance on empathy, why it might not work exactly the way you think it does, but also why it’s wonderful and an amazing part of being a human being. Some people might find this a touchy subject, but take a listen before you make up your mind. Get full show notes and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/210

Join me on the podcast this week as I unpack an idea I’ve been sitting with for a while. Whatever “it” is to you – it could be marriage, children, a new car, a new job, a business of your own – I have 5 elements to consider that could be holding you back from going and getting “it” and how to overcome these hurdles. Tune in this week as I share how to take the pressure off of yourself in family gathering situations. I want to workout, but I focus on a lack of motivation to get started. I will try to make a goal that reflects the health benefits that exercise can help me develop but, you said to make a goal that is meant to reward our mind and body and not focus on where we are weak and trying to make it strong. love and trust for this amazing machine(this body), but I am so powerless over my laziness. I pace a lot but I'm not burning many calories because I'm in air conditioning. I don't sweat so don't think calories are being spent, but then again, I don't want to sweat because I will have to take a shower! I'm just not motivated. I weigh between 240lbs and 245lbs and around 5'10. I take medication for schizophrenia; RLS; hypothyroidism; cholesterol, and a multivitamin. I have more than one reason to do sit ups, pushups, and jump rope, and to lift dumbbells, but I'm so damn lazy! I feel that I need to begin at square one, wherever that is. can you help me?
