Lucas Parada: Quadruple Threat + More

Lucas, once a co-yoga teacher with Ava at SoHo, Hot8 and Alo, is also a MAJOR dancer. He has danced for Disney and Katy Perry... just to name a few. In the words of Lucas Parada, he is an "aspiring "broadway person", musician, student of politics, general person who has interest in being alive and human". --- Lucas was born in Chicago Illinois, and raised on the beaches of Cape Cod, MA. At 10 years old, his mother lovingly forced him into his first hip-hop class at a local studio, and it was love at first class. He began training seriously in classical as well as street dance styles, pursuing any and every bit of wisdom he could soak in. His training in dance led him to both vocal and theatrical endeavors. Lucas performed as “Randolph” for a local production of “Bye Bye Birdie” by the time he was in 7th grade. In high school, Lucas was lucky enough to perform at Carnegie Hall with his chorus under the direction of Alison Beavan. At 18 Lucas moved to Tucson Arizona, to study ballet, modern, and jazz under the direction of the University of Arizona’s prestigious faculty. At the age of 19 he received an offer to join Jaci Royals LA based contemporary dance company: Royal Flux Dance, and shortly there after he took a leap of faith, moved to LA, and started his career. --- Instagram
