Have we missed the mark?  Have we over complicated the Gospel, the ministry, the church? On her quest to find a new church home in a new town, Priscilla began to record the "New Girl Chronicles" that in turn we share with you on this podcast.  It's not just about the revelation she received as she walked in and out of the front doors of several church buildings where it started to feel like she was an extra in the movie Groundhog Day.... it's more about the "For You I Will..." that she walks out now - the "Here I am, Send Me" mentality that compels her heart to shout from the roof tops what We The Church looks like and how each one of us are uniquely designed to be a part of the body and build the body. So how does God love? What is love? Deep, wide, true, long suffering, strong, free, faithful, powerful, reckless, unselfish, never ending, overwhelming, simply complex, merciful, joyful, priceless, unfailing, mighty, made known, without regard for self. Is this also a depiction of your love... the way you love?  Do you live love out loud? Hopeful this episode challenges and excites you to live in a way that your love is a carbon copy of Jesus.

As we close out 2021, I am jumping into 2022 with a new perspective, a new direction... honestly it's just another day, another year - every day is an opportunity to start over because He's mercies are new every day but starting a new year does give the perfect jump start for new.  In this year I am not sitting back, riding the wave - I am making the waves!  Who's with me?!?!   In this episode, I certainly hope that you can hear my heart, and get a glimpse of what the last year has looked like for me.  We are in this together, all of us, really!

While October was Domestic Violence Awareness month, we believe that every month should be Domestic Violence Awareness month. October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month... something I have never really spoke a lot about even having three family members lose babies in utero and/or as infants.  I suppose that is so, because it's hard... and hard things are... well... hard to talk about.  Allison Ortega Munoz gives us an inside look at loss, grief and redemption.  Honestly some of her story is graphic and hard to hear but these things have to be talked about.  People feel alone, isolated and we are standing on the side lines.  Did you know?? 1 in 4 (let me say that again)... 1 in 4 women will lose their baby during pregnancy, delivery or infancy.  This is a staggering reality that we can't overlook or discount.  Let their legacy live through you.  Take your time to listen, you might have to break this one up in a couple of sittings, share with a friend that needs to hear.

When you allow the Spirit to lead, there is no doubt there will be revelation and break through.  Is your God big enough to get the message to you?... the answer is YES!  Do you believe that? Everybody wants to be a PRO but very few want to go through the PROcess.  I am willing to go through the process, are you willing??  Let's do this together in partnership with Holy Spirit.  If we are so focused on what we are not we can't focus on what we ARE.  It's time that we move FROM prayer, rather than just being moved to pray.  Rise Up friends!!

There is no doubt that people will fail you... even you will fail people.  In those failures hurt is created, intentional or not.  Some of the deepest cuts come from other believers in our church.  People that we do life with, people that we serve with, people that we worship with... so why is it often so easy for us to give up on those people that hurt us, or leave the church, or even turn away from God?  Let's talk about the things that no one wants to talk about... like church hurt.  It's a real thing that needs to be brought out of the darkness.   When we are in sync with the Lord, we synchronize with our reach - which is exactly what the enemy does not want.  If he can keep us hurt, offended, broken and angry then the Church is of no good to the Kingdom of God.  This runaway train stops with you and me!  Join Lauren Sontag and me as we unpack some of Lauren's story and her journey through church hurt.

We should just start this one out with we don't know what we don't know... stop, take a moment to listen, and become aware of the division between some indigenous people and Christians - then turn the focus to ultimately how we can close the divide by leading with LOVE.  Hurting people hurt people and healed people heal people.  Be the joy, peace, and kindness that you were created to be by living out the Christ within you. We can often feel like we are too old and washed up or too young and uneducated to make disciples and the truth of the matter is that is just flat wrong... I love you so I want to ensure that you know the truth.  The truth is you are never too old, too young, too uneducated, too loud, too shy, too.... you insert here.  God uses all of us if we allow Him to.  We are vehicles, here to advance the Kingdom.  As a vehicle we must engage the engine and GO!  The engine being God and engaging being our YES!  There is no doubt we are nothing without God, so engage Him daily.   In honor of my very dear friend Mary Fletcher, a women that always took the time to engage and to pour into others - she was one of the most authentic Christ followers I knew.  Even after all she did in her journey with Christ on this earth, she never once said she was done, that she had arrived.... she loved people well and her legacy continues to pour out that love.  Thank you Mary for being the example that we can all follow.

When Renee prayed the prayer for God to use her life to rake in the harvest, she never imagined it would look the way it has this far in her journey.  Although their son Josiah has graduated to Heaven, Tyler and Renee have continued to trust the Lord and lean on His grace and hope each day. There truly is purpose in the pain and so much power when we set our perspective on Heaven.

There was so much adversity trying to get this podcast recorded... I am not certain if the enemy was trying to stop it or if Holy Spirit was trying to protect us... ha! Today, I get to share a real life "God story" from my life's recent events.  The Sinking House!!  In our endeavors to find a new home we just so happen to run into the "Sinking House" and didn't even know it...
