Your brain is king! It should be highly valued. It's what makes you do what you do. It is vital to keep it fit and healthy. The foods we speak of here are attainable and mostly affordable by most people. We discuss each of these vital foods, give suggestions on how to prepare them, including how we use them personally. Then we drift off to another subject that is a pet-peeve of my guest. You'll have to listen to find out. Sit back, clean house, move along in traffic and enjoy the show. When you look back and consider your fitness and health, what would you have done differently? If you've ever asked yourself that question what would you change? We discuss that very topic in this show. The topic came up when I ran across an Instagram feed and someone actually brought this up in their post. Take a listen. Also we touch on what to do going forward and the subject of decluttering your home. Why is this significant to a healthy lifestyle? Listen and see. This is also the show that I introduce the new podcast name: Beyond the Workout. The name was chosen because a healthy lifestyle includes more than just exercise. Take a Listen, Learn and Grow. A very special guest was invited to this show. As you will hear in the introduction she is particularly special to my co-host Derrick Trotter. Her story is compelling in the sense that what she faced could happen to any of us. The show is entitled the Unexpected for that very reason. No matter how healthy we are or try to be, a medical scare can befall us all. What did she endure? Take a listen. Have you faced a medical emergency? Have you been told by your doctor, that based on your vital signs you're healthy? Know yourself, recognize when something simple isn't right. Stand your ground until someone listens. It could mean life or death.
What happened in the aftermath of Eric's injury as explained on the previous show? Also how did Derrick do in the days after returning from his Bahamas vacation? We then discuss the motivating factors behind getting clients active in fitness. Do Personal Fitness Coaches motivate and encourage? Some suggestions when one "step off the wagon" We don't fall off the wagon. Let's think positive and live life with enjoyment, not restrictions. We are candid in our conversation. Listen and Learn. How did these vacation plans turn out? Derrick's plans were to the Bahamas. Eric's plans were to Jamaica. How did these plans turn out? They both had certain goals to accomplish by the time they hit those tropical beaches. Did they hit those goals? How well did Derrick in particular stick to his program. But wait, we are asking plenty of questions here. Did they even make it on these vacations? Take the next 30 minutes of your time and listen. Be motivated to be fit. We speak about some of the interferences to exercising. What are some ways we get around these obstacles? If we schedule this time what days work well for us. We discuss these topics in an open and candid way. Listen to how we follow what's best for us. No need to put undue strain or stress in getting fit. Get the right mindset and get the work done.
