Well, you've come to the right place. In this episode, we dive into James 3:1-12. We talk about the warning that teachers will be judged more strictly, the power and responsibility of speech, and that everyone falls short, especially in their words. James uses metaphors such as a bit in a horse's mouth, a rudder on a ship, and a small spark causing a great fire to illustrate the tongue's significant influence and potential for harm. He describes the tongue as untamable and full of deadly poison, capable of both blessing and cursing, which reveals the hypocrisy in our speech. We discuss ways to have power over our tongue by using the Bible's wisdom and providing fruits with our words. We hope you enjoy the episode!
