Big Crown Radio returns with a very special episode from our friend Double Peas. She made a killer mix of records with female leads and asked us to make sure it comes out on International Women’s Day. So here is “Everyday Is International Women’s Day” from one of the baddest women in the record game hands down. She’s a member of Hot Peas & Butta and Sundown Soul Club. Catch her playing records anywhere you can and it is guaranteed to be right on.
France's own DJ Suspect presents "Love Injection", a spontaneous live mix of some of his favorite 45s. A great DJ, record collector, and an all around good guy. Catch DJ Suspect at gigs around the world and be sure to find your way to his other mixes.
Dj Preservation presents Road to Wishes. A mix of Cantonese & Mandarin Funk, Soul, and Disco dug up in the street markets & shops of Hong Kong. This is the A side of the forthcoming Mon Dieu Music exclusive cassette that includes samples and inspirations that appear on Preservation’s Eastern Medicine, Western Illness LP.
Presenting, Everyday Will Be Like A Holiday -Volume 9... Even though it’s BCR’s 38... The classy & conceptual, collection of cuts, classic, some unconventional, but always cordial. Número Nueve is, an earmarked number for myself, as I am, a Life Path 9... Oof, it ain’t always easy. Wherever I happen to be, people think I work there, & ask for help?.. Usually I can actually accommodate, go figure that?.. From record shops, to buddah spots, or bodegas, a Nine’s path is passionately complicated, & compassionate, due to 9’s uncommon universal effect, & embodiment of, ALL other numbers... Yeah that’s right. Just add 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 = 36... 3+6= 9... 9+9= 18... 1+8= yup 9. Nine takes the shape of a spiral, see, the combined wave of creativity, & evolvement, living life to express, love... But, feeling, well, everything... So, in the Holiday projects, I try to perfectly place, songs that move me, to tell that old soul, heartfelt, type a story, metaphoric, & literal. & hopefully, it can inspire getting back to, or rather evolving to a greater place, of love & compassion... Signing off (as 9 is also the number of completion), simultaneously living in the past, & ahead of this fucking time... P.S. volumes 7 & 8 are done (for those paying attention), they just haven’t been publicized on the avenues they was gifted to, yet... -MF Classy Chris
The B side of Danny Akalepse’s Lost & Looking / My Heaven… cassette. "My Heaven" is a mix of Jamaican slowies. B sides of 45s and album cuts that range from soul ballads to doo-wops to mid-tempos, all with a JA twist. There’s a whole world of these, this is just a cassette side’s worth. Dim lights, have a nice evening.

60 minutes or so, of soul... not focusing on any particular style... the kinda set you might catch, out in the real world...
A nice mix from our friend Spruzzi, owner of Monorecords in Zurich and heavy duty DJ / collector. “Let The Gods Speak” is a mix from Leon Michels featuring music from around the globe and a few special edits made by El Michels himself. It also includes an unreleased song from El Michels Affair. Hint: it’s the only song on the mix sung in a endangered dialect of Japanese.
Buck Masters, J. S. Buck aka Kevin of Brainstory and Buckleberry Fin aka Brian Jamal Edwards present: 4 Seasons, a sonic interpretation of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. 4 Seasons glides through aural  moods with the weather patterns dictating where to go. From The boisterous and flamboyant colors of spring, to the hot grooves of a beloved summer, onto the soothing and sometimes heartbreaking chills of Fall and Winter, listeners encounter stories and memories captured on wax that have touched both selectors and hopefully the listener as well.
