What a mess. Azlin continues to push Reath to find his own answers about the Nameless and the blight as he and Amadeo get closer to solving those mysteries. Sicarus has a Jedi within his grasp, Cohmac continues researching legends of the Tolemites, and Reath and Vernestra make a horrible discovery buried just beneath their feet. Palagosal gets wild really quick when we learn of a solo Nihil on her own mission to make daddy Marchion proud. Best wishes with that. Meanwhile, our gang heads to Tortle Cove Outpost, but along the way they run into the ultimate nightmare; a pair of Nameless. With the Jedi under attack, our three non-force users will have to step up and save the day. And Churo the Hutt will realize their own mission may be more dangerous than he ever thought possible. We meet a bunker conspiracy theorist and his very patient wife, an RDC commander, a lost sister of Coruscant, and a Jedi who is running out of time to escape their prison. But with no way out, supplies dwindling and the Jedi's condition declining, hope feels lost for this crew. But as we know, the Force has a way of bringing people together just when they need it. Beware the Nameless is here! This amazing middle grades novel by Zoraida Cordova starts off with a new adventure with some familiar faces, and some new ones, too. Hutt family drama, a fan favorite descendant, and some questionable choices about sending kids into war (looking at you, Jedi) begin what is sure to be another awesome addition to the HR Phase 3 . Her paths cross with a long-lost son of Coruscant who gets wrapped up in the Nihil drama when they discover a bounty on their head. And a special child joins the adventure in an escape from Baron Boolan's evil plans. It all culminates in a surprise reunion, revelations about the past and the present, and a chance to rethink the paths they've all been on. We round out with a glimpse of hope; the wedding of Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala is finally here. Against all odds, our favorite lovebirds go through with their wedding plans in Bri-phrang city. In our penultimate episode for Temptation of the Force, tensions rise as Ghirra and Lina Soh come face to face to talk negotiations with the Nihil. But with Marchion still off on his own adventures, Ghirra will have a hard time convincing the Republic that the Nihil want peace. Elzar struggles with Avar's confession, until a heart to heart with a Jedi master brings about some unexpected clarity, and prompts him into action. Avon reaches out to Ghirra, and in a surprise to everyone, gets information that will help the Jedi find Marchion, while Avar works with Cair to figure out more about the blight and Marchion's interest in it. Burry and Bell continue looking into Drengir and the blight, and Burry discovers that there might be hope for fighting against it. If only he can figure out what it wants. The action ramps up as we learn what happened after the battle to liberate Naboo from the Nihil. But the joy of victory is short-lived, as the Republic learns that the Stormwall is not only up again, but may have changed structure altogether, leaving many people stranded on Naboo. It will take the Jedi, the Force, and of course, Xylan Graf to figure out how to get back to Coruscant. Meanwhile, Marchion continues his research into the blight, Porter goes on a scavenger hunt for Viess, and Avar and Elzar have a much-needed heart-to-heart (mouth-to-mouth). Armed with Xylan's information, Avon and the RDC finally figure out how to break through the Stormwall, allowing the Republic and the Jedi to reclaim Naboo and destroy Lightning Crash station. What they don't know is that General Viess is waiting for them on Naboo. While she deals with an old foe, her Nameless bodyguards are close by and hungry for Jedi. Marchion continues his experiments with the Blight, and he might be making his way to the Republic side of the Stormwall sooner rather than later. Elzar gifts Avar with something new, while Avar gifts Elzar with some hope and belief in who he can be, propelling him back into the fight. We find out the fate of our fav San Tekka, get another show-down between Viess and Porter, and feel the feels as the Jedi and the Republic finally start turning the tide of the war. For now. Ghirra's irritation towards Marchion grows as Marchion goes further into his own side quest. But this might provide an opportunity for Ghirra to move the Nihil forward with her own vision. Porter abandons normalcy to hunt for Viess in a totally non-stalkery way. Viess cleans house at Lightning Crash; will Xylan still be alive when she's done? Burryaga and Bell investigate supposed Drengir sightings, even though they shouldn't still be alive. In their investigation they discover something that may be even more terrifying. Elzar, and all of us, get the surprise of all surprises when the Jedi Council makes him an offer he never saw coming. Even more surprising, Rachel & Jen have fallen into the trap of liking Elzar. We're just as shocked as you. Avar and Vernestra help the RDC move refugees across the Stormwall, but they end up with a very unexpected passenger who may hold the key to destroying the Stormwall. Cair visits the San Tekka home in Naboo, only to discover a sinister visitor looking for a traitor amongst the Nihil, putting him in a very dangerous situation. We're starting Wave 2 of Phase 3 with the adult novel Temptation of the Force! We learn the fate of one of our fav Jedi, Cair dives headfirst into a Republic smuggling operation and Avar & Elzar grow closer. But Elzar has to face his past and himself in order to embrace the future Avar wants for them. That may be easier said than done. Meanwhile, Marchion grows distracted from the Nihil by a plague overtaking the Nihil's crystal farm. A plague eerily similar to other reports across Nihil space. A plague that consumes everything in its path. Bell and Burryaga work with the Republic to evacuate people before more planets can be swallowed by the Stormwall. But a surprise warning of an old foe might upend everything. Avon Sunvale gets closer and closer to opening up the Stormwall to the Republic; and when she does, the Nihil and the Republic may finally come face to face once again. We continue our story as Crash & her crew grow increasingly uneasy over Krix's continued chaos, resulting in an intervention that could separate her crew for good. Crash grapples with her decisions on Corellia and what it means for her family legacy, and they receive disturbing news from their friends on Eriadu. Krix's grand plans to take out Marchion Ro and rule the galaxy are not necessarily going smoothly. Will he be able to get Marchion's attention? Can he throw a grenade fast enough? When our fav rebel Corellian, "Crash" Ongwa, and her merry gang of vigilantes (including her mom....) start hunting down the Nihil left in Coronet City, she discovers an opportunity to get revenge. But in that journey, an old foe and a new chance to take the Nihil down once and for all causes tension between her and her crew and may bring more chaos than Crash is ready for. Meanwhile, on Eriadu, the Jedi rush to move younglings off-planet with the threat of the Nihil looming. Luna and Zeen make plans for the future, unbeknownst to the other, but a snag in their mission threatens that future entirely, and the Jedi have to fight for their lives as the shadow of the Stormwall gets closer and closer.
