A native of Windsor, Colorado, Dr. Kahl earned his bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at CU. He practiced at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and at the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake, California, but remained interested in pediatric dentistry ever since he and other students got the chance to work at dental clinics in Romania. After separating from the Navy, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital in Denver. Dr. Kahl spends one day a week at the Denver Health Pediatric Dental Residency Program teaching future pediatric dentists.
