When you visit a travel agency. You pick up a copy of Sunquest or Royal Caribbean Cruise Magazine. What do you see on the cover? For the most part, you will see in these travel publications, quite often paint a picture of a Western tourist usually gazing at the horizon from the edge of an infinity pool. And, while you are looking at any major campaigns or advertisements for travel -- especially luxury travel -- you don't see black or brown faces. This causes an issue because, psychologically, it makes people who identify as Black, Caribbean, Mixed, African, Afro-Canadians feel like this isn't made for them.@blackcanadiantravellers is changing this idea. All on an interesting Instagram account.
