Known for brutally murdering and dismembering his victims' bodies, Boggia's motive was not for sexual pleasure or power but purely for financial gain. He used his skills as a building contractor and his ability to speak multiple languages to deceive his victims. He had a traumatic childhood, with an abusive father and a mentally ill mother. He claimed to have been assaulted and raped by his siblings at a young age. Pedro joined the Peruvian Air Force but was quickly kicked out due to his diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia and psychopathic tendencies. He found pleasure in killing animals and claimed to have killed his first human victim for stealing a watermelon. Pedro Pablo Nakada Ludeña, also known as The Cleaner embarked on a murder spree in Peru, claiming 17 victims in less than two years. His delusions led him to believe that he was a 'cleaner' who needed to rid society of prostitutes, drug addicts, homosexuals, and robbers. His first victim was shot on a beach, and he proceeded to steal the victim's money and wallet. Pedro's murders followed a pattern of shooting his victims and then stealing their belongings.
