in light of the whole Charles Hamilton situation, in which he was punched in the face on camera by his girlfriend, is it ever ok to hit a female back after she hits you? Obviously, charles hamilton showed restraint and didn't hit his girlfriend back, but some men don't have that kind of self control. please call in and give your opinion.
The house negro vs. the field negro, the rich black vs. the poor black, the educated black vs. the uneducated black. These were all issues existed during slavery, and they are most definitely as issue today. Are these some of the reasons why black people can never seem to unite as one?
i'm sick of the fools on BTR still debating whether or not President Obama is black or not. Can you believe this? I am totally shocked. first of all, why does it matter? And second of all, if Obama would have been alive during slavery in American, he would have been in chains right next to the ancestors of these black btr hosts who question his race...is that not black enough?.....let's talk about this...
2 Negroes Are trying to Stop Obama From Being President
The growing legal battle against President-elect Barack Obama's presidency is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court this week. The justices will decide whether or not to look into a lawsuit challenging Obama's citizenship. While the lawsuit is a continuation of a New Jersey case, the citizenship question has sparked a number of lawsuits from Obama's opponents.
Among those who have filed lawsuits is Alan Keyes, who ran an unsuccessful race against Barack Obama in 2004 for the Illinois Senate. Now, U.S. Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has taken an interest in the legal question and asked the rest of the bench to look into the case. Obama received dual citizenship since his father was a Kenyan-born national, which arguably doesn't qualify him as a "natural born citizen" as required by the U.S. Constitution.
A petition to stop the Electoral College from confirming Obama as the forty-fourth President of the United States on December 15 has already been rejected by Justice David Souter, but in a rare move, Thomas has stepped in and granted the case time before the high court.
Illinois Gov. Blagojevich arrested, accused of 'corruption crime spree' over appointment. But this isn't the first time a politician has gotten caught red handed. Lets look at some of the most crooked politicians in U.S. history
Tonight I will read chapter four and five of the narrative of Frederick Douglass, and afterwords we will have a discussion of the chapter. and then I will open up the lines for any discussion related to the latest news from President Obama.
Will the extraordinary weight put on the shoulders of President Barack Obama to solve the problems of black American lead to the death of his presidency? Or do you think President Barack Obama is beyond just focusing on the issues of one particular racial group, and more focused on healing America as a whole?
Please add to the discussion by calling in and giving your opinion...
So, right wing nuts have started to call for inquiries into whether or not Obama is a natural born citizen, they claim his birth ciritificate is false. They say the constitutions says Obama cannot become president.
And there are other myths out there about Obama as well. Like Obama supporting Sharia Islamic law in Kenya, etc, etc. Come on in, and lets fight back against these desperate right wing nutjobs
It's hilarious; Obama hasn't even been sworn in yet and already people are complaining about his decisions. Let's talk about it...call in, I will let you speak your mind and won't kick you off air like other hosts..
Are you mad at Obama for his appointments to the white house?
Why are older blacks so out of touch with the younger black generation?
There is a serious problem within the black community regarding older black folks underestimating and stereotyping younger black men and woman. Am I the only one that has encountered this issue? Let's talk about...
Join us as we discuss the most important and the most ridiculous issues in politics from this past week.
This week we will discuss the Election of Barack Obama. Will he be able to make a change? Why are black people looking for him to only be the "president of black america?"
Also, let's talk about some of the most ridiculous issue of the week
Tonight's show I am going to talk about slavery and try to find out if the history of American slavery still negatively affects the black community.
Is this a legit hypothesis, or do black people need to stop thinking about the past?
Well, i've listened to several BTR shows in which the topic was on how there were "no good black men" left and how black woman always seem to end up with dead beats. Well, on tonights show I will talk about why this is the case, and what simple things black woman can do to change it.
Tonight's show will focus on the shameful and sad story of Sara Baartman AKA The "Hottentot Venus." I will be discussing why I believe the image of the "Hottentot Venus" is being recreated in today's hip hop videos through black men's fascination with how big a woman's butt is. If you don't know the story of Sarah Baartman AKA "The Hottentot Venus," and you believe the size of black woman's behinds are being exploited in today's society, then you need to listen to this show!
Well, i'm back again. But this time, i'm getting a little historical. Tonight's show will focus on the Emmitt Till Case, and why it is still labeled as "unsolved" when it is so obvious as to whom committed the crime. Feel free to call in and give your opinion!.
