It's been a couple of days but the Vince Marrow news is still big news. Earlier this week he decided to take a GM position at Louisville. That only adds to the pessimism that already surrounds Kentucky football. Vinny and Aaron also discussed the schedule updates for football and basketball. Follow and subscribe!
Jager Burton joined Vinny for a fun convo about lots of topics. He talked about getting to know all of his teammates and leaving no stone unturned in an effort to improve on last season. We talked about his approach to fall camp now that he was an older player. He spearheaded tornado relief efforts for London and Somerset after the devastating tornado they suffered last month (00:11:00). We spoke about his leadership, his time playing running back, having good performances individually on a team that's struggling (00:21:00), owning a restaurant, coming for KSBar & Grille (00:31:55), highlights he's most proud of and more! One-run games weren't kind to Kentucky baseball. We saw it again in the regionals against West Virginia. The way the season ended stung and will sting for a while. But the Cats had a solid season and achieved a lot overall. They have positioned themselves nicely for next year if they play their cards right. Kentucky football has us all feeling kind of glum.
