For many Asian Americans, seeing Kristi Yamaguchi win the gold in women’s figure skating at the 1992 Olympics was everything. She was more than a famous athlete — she was one of the few Asian Americans on TV, period. Interesting and unbelievable story. I found it to be well told and I didn't' mind the narrator's voice or style.

I started listening to this because we are in the middle of the Tokyo Olympics. It was an eye opener, not least because I have a cousin in Melbourne who is nearly 12 years old and a gymnast with great potential. Let's hope if she ever gets to an Olympics of the future this terrible error is never repeated.
