Description

Jacob Haendel has been handed a death sentence. He has a terminal progressive disease that's eating away at the white matter of his brain. In six months, he'll be dead.

As the months progress, Jake slips into a coma, laying there in total darkness. But something odd has happened... Jake is fully conscious.

Nobody knows that he can hear them. They’re certain he's no longer in there.

With the promise that Jake will never recover, friends and family visit less and less. Until there is just one person left. A person who begins to whisper strange admissions in his ear.

It is here, helpless in his hospital bed, that Jake realizes what may have gotten him here in the first place. The scariest thing in the room is no longer the potential of dying, but rather, the person sitting right next to him.

This is Blink, the untold true story and survival of Jacob Haendel.

Blink sounds like an absolutely haunting and gripping story—imagine being trapped in your own body, fully aware but unable to communicate, while uncovering unsettling truths. Jacob Haendel’s survival journey is both terrifying and fascinating, making this a must-listen for anyone who loves true stories of resilience and mystery. The thought of being in such a vulnerable state and realizing something sinister is happening around you is chilling. I'm grateful for this podcast as I have a very close family member who suffers with substance misuse disorder. and this show this podcast highlights how common the problem is in America today. look at all the people in the show who no one would imagine were here when users. they've been forced to be honest and show their hand to tell Jake's story and it's really appreciated. the country needs to know everybody who's harboring this disease it's not a shameful secret and it's a very common disease

I'm here by way of "We're All Insane" on YT. I'm 1000% invested and addicted to this story already!! What an incredible journey you've been on. I can relate to a large portion of your story. Your opiate addiction and the dynamic between you and your wife ex.. Feels familiar to me. I'm super glad you decided to do this. I would be shocked if this didn't go crazy viral. I highly recommend that if you're reading this, go check it out. Listen to the interview on YT, too.
