S16 Ep1: Not Goodbye, but See you Later

Welcome Back to Blue Moon Vibes! The podcast that makes you laugh a lil' bit, cry a lil' bit, and think a lil' bit! My goal is to be the one that gives you more than you asked! I hope you can find value in these topics, and they become something that you talk amongst your friends and family about! Don't shy away from challenging issues because that is where growth happens! The change you want to see is the change you must create! We are worthy, we are tenacious, we are strong, and we are purposeful! The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! Not Goodbye, but See you Later It's The End Hello, my friends. Well, we have been together for a while now, but there comes a time when you just need a break, and that time has come for me. I am mentally exhausted, my friends. I have so many things going on, and I have chosen to take a step back from everything for a moment just to regroup. Now, this does not mean that I am letting go. This does not mean that I am quitting; what it means is that I have reached a point where I don't feel I am giving it my all, and I don't want to just put anything out there for you guys. I want it to be enjoyable and something you can talk with your family about. I have been going on 1000 for almost nine months with no break and hardly any rest, and I am about to break, so I'm going to step away before I reach that point. I didn't just want to vanish and not give you guys some reason because I feel like we are friends, and you all should know. So as the title says, it's not Goodbye; just see you later for now. Right now, I plan to return in July, provided all goes well and I am back to myself. If not July, I will post the updated anticipated return date on my socials, so make sure you all are following so you don't miss that update. Life is unpredictable sometimes, and some things we just can't control. We have to be in-tune enough to know what those are and strong enough to bow down and accept our rest. So just know, I'm taking rest for me to be better for you and THE BEST I CAN for everything! See you all soon :-) Social Handles Insta: All. that. The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! Regrets It's Series 15, Episode 4 Happy Saturday, beautiful people; we are almost in a new month, and we are finishing up season 15! Can yall believe it's Gonna Be May... of 2022 already? I swear it seems like just yesterday amazon was out f essentials because of Covid! Man, time moves fast! We begin today's show with the conclusion of our biggest regrets. As you will hear in the beginning, my one regret still bothers me, and it rears its head every now and then. I want to let you all know that whatever that thing is that keeps nagging at you, do it! Don't let people talk you out of your passions. If your heart is set for it, go after it; sometimes, we value the opinions of those we love so much and many times over our own that we regret the one thing we allowed them to talk us out of. From there, we go into the best trip of your life and what it was? Let us know in the comments. What has been the best trip of your life up to this point? And if you haven't had one, where do you dream of going? During our discussion, you will hear my excitement over Lady Dee's answer and why. Also, you will hear Pbid's story and how we will top his! We then talk about the lack of common sense in society. What makes us d the things we do? Knowing they can possibly harm us? Is it the adrenaline, or is it the social media clout? And then we discuss why society is so judgemental? Is it the projecting of our thoughts and insecurities onto others? What do you all think? Let us know! Is it true that regardless of what happens or what we do, there will always be a level of judgment from others? Why? /we end it with Lady Dee's question of the day! Let's get it on, Neva Scared, Knuck If You Buck! And we will catch yall next Saturday. Social Handles Insta: All. that. S15 Ep3: Inspiration

Welcome Back to Blue Moon Vibes! The podcast that makes you laugh a lil' bit cry a lil' bit, and think a lil' bit! Inspiration It's Series 15, Episode 3 What's up, friends? Welcome back! Diving right into the continuation of our question of who inspired us the most growing up. As you all will hear, no particular person inspired me; more events inspired me. Lady and PBid Dee will share who inspired them and how. Inspiration is funny; we can be inspired by something, people, or circumstances. As we grow and learn, we can take instances in our lives and latch on to them like a leech and use what they taught us to make better decisions and maybe help the next person. PBid wants to inspire himself, and he will share with you how he does so. We then move on to our biggest regrets! What about you all? What has been your biggest regret, and what have you learned from it? Regrets, like inspiration, can be learning experiences. Regrets can also be the inspiration; they can inspire us not to make those mistakes again and motivate us to push harder! This gets a bit deep for us. Lady Dee shares her story and why she regrets the decision she made. PBid shares why he wishes he hadn't poured so much into hopeless situations. As you will hear on today's show, we all believe that our path is what our path is, and the only person that truly knows is GOD. We can sometimes pour so much into someone until we have nothing left. Be sure that you preserve your peace and protect your mental health because you only have one body. I share with you all my van-life desire and its outcome. I also want you all to know not to let people tell you how to live your life. You only have one life to live, and I don't know about you all, but I don't want to live with regrets.  Social Handles Insta: All. that. It's Series 15, Episode 2 We are back at it, wrapping up For The Culture on giving Gap; if you are wondering who Giving Gap is, check out last week's episode. You will hear our vastly different responses and why we feel that way during the show. Rounding off our discussion with Giving Gap, we dive into the workforce. Would you guys take a job for less pay if you knew you could earn more? What about you guys? Let us know in the comments below! I am not sure if I would or wouldn't listen to find out my reasoning. Knowledge is power, and let nothing stand in your way of obtaining such. In that same breath, while I believe we should learn as much as possible in whatever position we are currently placed in, I am at a crossroads as to whether or not that includes me being paid less. During this discussion, we uncover that your decision is up to you. To connect the two, we ask, if you had to do it all over, would you choose the same career path? You will hear questions such as, Do I enjoy what I am doing? Will I have been further along? For me, talk about my journey to reach my current goals. This brings us down a rabbit hole of college fall-throughs. Here you will learn about my many mistakes and what I have learned from making these mistakes. Lady Dee, as always, drops her knowledge gems again; just wait! We close this episode out with, growing up, who inspired you the most? The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! The Giving Gap It's Series 15, Episode 1 THEY ARE BACK, GUYSSS!!! Lady Dee and Pid have rejoined us for this  season. So we began with catching you all up on our week. As you will hear, Lady Dee now does three jobs, and Pid Bid got an award! We can't believe it either, guys! We all know that PBid is a fantastic teacher, and it is well deserved. We will kick off each season with our For The Culture segment from now on. This season, we have Giving Gap, a non-profit organization supporting other non-profits. Giving gap gives support to non-profits who need it the most. Giving Gap boasts a strong foundation of 5 moral principles that drive its organization.  Amplifying Black Organizations We use our platform and resources to amplify the critical work our fellow Black-led organizations are doing. By elevating visionary organizations, we connect them to key people opening doors for opportunities, funding, and partnership. A Community-Focused Approach We work to build collective power through the community as a bottom-up organization. We listen, seek input, are accountable, and use data to understand more deeply. As an intersectional group representing a vast array of causes, we work to find common ground that serves as a foundation for all to build off of. We empower each other to do better, work smarter, connect with more people, and raise more money. Collective Black Brilliance We are proudly Black-led and exist to support Black leadership and help Black leaders shine. We are intersectional and inclusive and honor the diversity within the Black community — working to uplift individuals along with our collective. We believe in building allyship across lines of difference to celebrate and lift Black brilliance in rooms and spaces where it has been absent. We celebrate the genius of our community, operate from a place of abundance, and believe in radical joy. Aligning Money & Morals We help people put their money where their morals are. We work to create cultural and mindset change for those interested in advancing racial equity, facilitating behavior change in how people are giving, who they're giving to, and the causes they're supporting. Enabling Measurable Change We aim to encourage and enable people to take action for Black lives. By facilitating tangible ways for people to donate, volunteer, and partner with Black-led organizations, we work to close the racial giving gap. In my opinion, it is very humbling and heart-warming to have such a robust organization. Being a new non-profit and trying to navigate the nuances of the world of entrepreneurship, I am grateful for organizations like Giving Gap that gives me a voice and a platform to stand on. In today's time, as a black woman seeing the slowly closing gap of racial inequality in specific sectors makes me so happy. in the same breath, it reminds me that we still have work to do, but our progress is not in vain.  Social Handles Insta: All. that. S14 Ep5: The Creator of Your Circumstance

The Creator of Your Circumstance It's Series 14, Episode 4 As we conclude this series, we round off our discussion of if we are entitled to live a prosperous life? We begin with asking ourselves, are we placing ourselves in an optimal position for success? If your circumstances are not going as well as you would like, are you making an effort to adjust your approach to achieve that ideal lifestyle? On the other sides, if your circumstances are going phenomenally, what are you doing to ensure they only get better from their current point? As we all know, sometimes challenging situations can hit us like no other, and we sometimes find ourselves in a metaphorical space of defeat. Let's not stay there; let's acknowledge the emotions and move on. If we allow the unfortunate temporary instance to dictate our performance, we will neglect our true calling and prolong our destiny. We are building the life for our legacy; what does yours look like? I want you all not to seek out happiness; I want you all to seek out joy! Find something that not only brings you happiness but makes you joyful, as joy is something that belongs to you and can not be taken away. In our joy, let's not pour toxic positivity into our lives. Know that things happen but don't downplay the realness of hardships. In our ups and downs of life, we are strong enough to overcome anything. Your dreams matter. You matter, and someone needs what you offer! Social Handles Insta: All. that. The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! What's YOUR Dream? It's Series 14 Episode 4 Welcome back, beautiful people; on today's show, we will conclude our discussion around what freedom looks like for you all. I will correlate this with Dr. Martin Luther King I have a dream speech. As we all want to be free and experience the unshackled reality of true freedom, what do you all think Dr. King's idea of freedom was? We then move on to the feeling of freedom. In the previous question, we defined what freedom meant to us; now, we talk about if our definition of what it means to be free aligns with our current life experiences. I share with you all what my definition of freedom is, and then I let you know if I feel my purpose aligns with my life. As I navigate through life's intricacies and try and figure out my place in the vast world, I realize that time is the only thing that will allow me to see the fruits of my faithful labor. I know that currently, my definition of freedom and my life don't align, but I live for the day that they will, that I can devote myself fully to running and growing my non-profit and shaping it into the powerhouse for change that it is meant to be. We then cap it off with whether or not you believe we are entitled to live a prosperous life. Our life is what we make it. Although the road isn't always paved with roses, we can still emerge victoriously Social Handles Insta: All. that. The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! It's Series 14 Episode 3  Welcome back, beautify people, it's just us again! As we continue our discussion on innocence vs. ignorance, this leads us into ignorance is bliss. What do you guys think? Do you believe it's best to be happy and not know anything or be cautious and have the knowledge? Let me know in the comments. We then move into whether or not people consciously choose to do wrong, but then I have a revelation, people DO decide to do wrong. We then move on to fear; remember when Paid and lady dee said, the world hasn't gotten more dangerous people have gotten less fearful. this leads me into discussing what fears I have; I believe that fear gives us a level of perception. What about you all? What fears do you have? Don't have the proper tools to execute effectively, or do you not believe you have the strength to overcome your fear at all? For me, I think I am strong enough; I am just not sure if I have the proper technique to overcome them. For me, failure is a thing I can learn from. I know that I have a purpose, so I have to constantly tell myself that I can conquer this. I then move on to the truths about myself. What I mean by that is even in my fear of failing, not being good enough, etc. I know that without a doubt, God gave me this vision, and it is up to me to do the work to make it real. Even when I doubt myself in the direction and the choices, God will be with me. What about you all? There are so many times that people will try and knock you down, but it matters not what they say. It matters what you believe. We then move on to what the term freedom means; for me, it means to think, be, exist and live on your terms. What about you guys? Welcome Back to Blue Moon Vibes! The podcast that makes you laugh a lil' bit cry a lil' bit, and think a lil' bit! My goal is to be the one that gives you more than you asked! The change you want to see is the change you must create! We are worthy, we are tenacious, we are strong, and we are purposeful! The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! The Fountain City Difference Project? What is that? It's Series 14 Episode 2 Great day people, Today it's just you and me, and we will be talking about The Fountain City Difference Project. What is that, you ask? Well, that is a great question; stick around and find out. We will discuss our upcoming event, Splash Jam, and its community benefits. You may have heard us talk about this organization before. The Fountain City Difference Project is my non-profit. We are committed to bridging the divide that cripples our youth and their future by equipping them with the power of choice. Our organization believes that we will one day live in a world where no child's life is lost at the end of a gun, at the hands of an aggressor, or because no one listened. We feel it is vital to allow children to ask why because it gives them preception—having the ability to ask why lets them think. Children are the most inquisitive beings, so why stifle that creativity with a muting" because I said so." That is what we are here for, to give them a safe outlet to ask why to understand why certain behaviors are dangerous. We want to do our part in providing them with a future they can see and a legacy they can be proud of. Our new For the Culture segment will continue to highlight black-owned non-profit businesses so that we can stand together and support each other. We will further talk about the concept of innocence vs. ignorance. In my opinion, as stated on the show, innocence is unknowingly doing the incorrect thing while ignorance is knowingly doing the wrong thing. What do you guys think? What women in your life or otherwise would you like to celebrate this month? I'll go; first, it will ALWAYS AND FOREVER be my mommy! She was the greatest ever! Let me know in the comments what woman or women you are celebrating this month! Alrighty, on today's show, we round off our discussion of what it's like to live your truth, and LadyDee hits us with the cliche of being true to yourself! But, is that so wrong? my question to this is how do you live your truth? What do you guys think? I thought I knew, but lately, I think I've been a bit confused. As LadyDee said, to live your truth, you have to know who you are as a person, what you want in your life, and where do you see yourself going. She says peace is her truth. We then move on to introducing our new segment, For the Culture. As you will hear, this will be a moment for us to highlight Black-owned non-profits and for-profits to bring their excellent work to the forefront and share their missions with the community. We support everything black as long as it's positive, and we have seen there are so many non=profits run by black people that we had never heard of before, and chances are if we hadn't, then someone else hasn't either, so this will be the time to learn about them. S13 Ep4: You're Fired

You're Fired It's Series 13 Episode 4 Welcome back to day 26 of Black History Month; before we get into the day's discussion, I want to share with yall a video I saw on Instagram; this video was re-posted by mrshenry1115. This fact I did not realize until I read the comments. The video was of a white baby girl dressed in what appeared to be a christening ensemble, and a man who I presume to be her father was recording. In the video, the man recording says, in a way I can only imagine was intended to be comical-mark missed-" Get that Fu%$*%g stupid s%*t of my daughter, She looks like she's ready for a Fu%$&*g Harriet Tubman meeting." Now, when I saw this, I knew due to the current climate of the world and the degree to which people are capable of defending; the comments were going to be a mix of emotions, sentiments, and statements:  "I cackled so loud." "I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard at this." "You might want to delete this, not a good look for you or the fact that it's black history month and you have a man using Harriet Tubman in a negative tone. Are you serious with this" "Well...looks like we are divided on this one. Was it just a joke about the dress being outdated, or did the dress remind him (the dad) of what he believed runaway slaves wore and thought it was ugly? Either way seems like an odd thing to say to describe a child in what looks like a christening gown."  Y'all let me know in the comments your thoughts. This is the video. In today's show, we continue our discussion on fear and its relation to the idea of danger, real and perceived. Lady dee says that the world hasn't necessarily gotten more dangerous; the people have gotten less fearful, therefore creating and exacerbating the idea of crime. S13 Ep3: A Lack of Fear

A Lack of Fear It's Series 13 Episode 3 Happy 19th Day of Black History Month. First, I want to express my appreciation for your continued support of foolishness and seriousness at the same time. We started this podcast because we wanted to share our thoughts and viewpoints on what impacts our lives daily. Our goal here will always be to be genuine, to be honest, and to be relatable. We want you all to know that we are just a few friends having fun and talking about life, and we hope you can relate. Make sure you share it with someone if you laughed at one of PBid's statements, or if one of Lady Dee's comments made you think, of if Jazz had you going, WTF! Because we want to bring the gift of thought-provoking questions and meaningful conversations to a household near you! So as we begin today's show, we discuss what it would look like if we crafted our perfect life. So what do you think? If you could wake up tomorrow and pick the elements of your ideal life, what would it look like? Let us know in the comments. As you will hear, PBid embraces his imperfections, Lady Dee wants a save button, and Jazz wants generational wealth and stability. In the same breath, we move on to question whether the world has indeed gotten more dangerous or is it only difficult because we have been taught to fear? We value your opinions, so let us know what you think, and remember, no one can tell your story like you can!

S13 Ep2: The Color of Our Skin

Welcome Back to Blue Moon Vibes! The podcast that makes you laugh a lil' bit cry a lil' bit, and think a lil' bit! My goal is to be the one that gives you more than you asked! The Color of OUR Skin It's Series 13 Episode 2 Happy12th day of Black History Month, beautiful humans! How has your week been? Let us know in the comments! Y'all got them w-2's, lol. As we continue discussing the evolution of the term ethnic and how it became almost synonymous with African Americans, we discovered that we could have been the reason behind it! We create our lingo when we are amongst our friends and other like-minded constituents. As LadyDee pointed out, this could have been overheard by others and "stuck," Almost like a game of telephone. And then we have paid! Lol, concluding our discussion on the complexities of the word ethnic, we move on to wonder why we are still judged by the color of our skin? We all understand that racism is a thing and that colorism is as well, but why does my skin color dictate my worth or lack-there-of? LadyDee raises a strong point that the media plays a vital part in perpetuating the colorism standard and the disenfranchisement of darker skin-toned humans. Do you all believe we will EVER get to a place where we are not judged by the color of our skin? Let us know in the comments. Social Handles Insta: All. that. Happy Black History Month It's Series 13 Episode 1 Happy Black History Month, beautiful humans! How has your week been? Let us know in the comments! We are just waiting on those W-2's; lol yall too? This month holds a special place in our hearts for the culture that is Black America. Not only because it is Black History month but because it is a chance to spotlight and CELEBRATE EVERYTHING black and positive! Join us on today's show to discuss why the term ethnic is used to describe black people. And then we have PBid with his Caucascity.... So let's back up a bit what is ethnic?  Essential Meaning of ethnic 1: of or relating to races or large groups of people who have the same customs, religion, origin, etc. 2: associated with or belonging to a particular race or group of people who have a culture that is different from the main culture of a country Full Definition of ethnic 1a:  of or relating to large groups of people classed according to common racial, national, tribal, religious, linguistic, or cultural origin or background b: being a member of a specified ethnic group c: of, relating to, or characteristic of a minority ethnic group Definition of ethnic  : a member of an ethnic group, especially: a member of a minority group who retains the customs, language, or social views of the group As you can see, ethnic does not mean "black"; it can include "African Americans" but is not strictly defined as such. So why has that become synonymous with our culture? Stick around, and we will share our thoughts.  Social Handles Insta: All. that. S12 Ep5: Blunt, Kempt and Tactful

Blunt, Kempt, and Tactful It's Series 12 Episode 5 Hey hey hey, we are back at it on this beautiful Saturday! How have yall's week been? We've got a quick show for yall today. As we continue our discussion on the likeness of Mr. Kevin Samuels, we further discuss that there should always be a level of kempt and tact in anything that we do. If you want to re-iterate a point if you have to be professionally blunt if you need "tell someone off." Regardless of the situation, you should ALWAYS have tact. What is tact, you ask? Great question. Websters defines tact as follows: Essential Meaning of tact : the ability to do or say things without offending or upsetting other people. Full Definition of tact 1: a keen sense of what to do or say to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense 2: sensitive mental or aesthetic perception So, What all of that means is, in no way am I telling you to "sugarcoat" things. The point I want to convey is to say what you mean and mean what you say. Just do it tactfully to share your point, and all is understood. There is no reason to maliciously and intentionally hurt someone's feelings or make them feel inferior, so think about how you present your thoughts. I have been guilty of this in the past, misconstruing the idea of honesty. My previous idea of "honest" was not caring what came out of my mouth. If it came to my head, it came out my mouth. As I have gotten older, I have refined this idea. Although I am still honest, I choose my words cautiously while still getting my point across. We then move on to Amazon. I know how on earth did that happen? Listen, you will find out, lol! So would you instead shop online or in person? But how about that Jeff Bezos man! This man has mastered the art of online presence and DOMINATED! From scaling his online product selection to the opportunities to earn money through selling on his platform, Amazon is a BEAST and so rightfully named! Amazon is a trusted brand and household name! May we all take a page from the extraordinary memoir that is Mr. Bezos! But what are your thoughts! Let us know in the comments! Social Handles Insta: All. that. S12 Ep4: Fat, Broke and Unambitious

Fat, Broke, and Unambitious It's Series 12 Episode 4 As we continue our discussion surrounding anime, we land on Hiku. If you haven't heard of Hiku... WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!! Lol, you are missing out on some FANTASTIC motivation. As you will hear in today's show, I am a fan of Hinata! This little guy gives me hope, he doesn't let anything, and I mean ANYTHING, stop him from reaching his goals. He is willing to learn, coachable, hungry, and has a drive that can not be matched. He is who I WANT to be; he doesn't let setbacks stop him from the mission at hand. I believe it is a show for ALL ages because many times as we get older, we can get set in our ways, forget how we got there, forget that someone had to help us, and forget that we don't know everything! These are the principles that Hiku reminds us of! NO ONE is too big to LEARN from someone else, and if you feel as though you are, YOU are a part of the problem! Humble yourself, young grasshopper. Do you remember who you were BEFORE you thought no one could tell you anything?  Moving on now to the ENRAGE portion of the show! Kevin Samuels! in the brief clip, you will hear Mr. Kevin Samuels publicly embarrass and belittle several men on his "Show." Now, I hear ya, honesty is the BEST policy, and you are 100% correct. There is no need to sugarcoat, water down, or pacify the inadequacies of a person's character abilities, mannerisms, attitudes, drives, goals, or lack thereof to satiate their egos! BUT being rude, for a laugh, is downright despicable! You can tell someone they are fat without the sarcastic, nonsensical undertones of mockery. Furthermore, who are YOU to say what a woman won't want in HIM? Because he makes $40,000 at 40 years old, it's a problem; well, excuse me, sir, I didn't know YOU were dating him! The reality is that sometimes you NEED someone to tell you what the problem is, but the truth of the matter is Mr. Samuels is preying on the insecurities of those that call his show. Honesty is ALWAYS best, RUDENESS, MOCKERY, and EMBARRASSMENT, not the way!  Mr. Kevin Samuels has made his millions, and kudos to him on that; shoot, I'm trying to get there, but the reality, in my opinion, is that he gets off on the humiliation and the public ridicule because he is compensating. It seems that men of his caliber need to feel important, wanted, needed, and he has taken those desires morphed them into 1.7 or so million youtube followers and a net worth of approx 2 million! Well, give the people what they want, right?  Social Handles Insta: All. that. S12 Ep3: Our Ancestor's Wildest Dream

Our Ancestor's Wildest Dream It's Series 12 Episode 3 As we continue with whether the black past proves the black future, we discuss how just because our ancestor's circumstances appeared a certain way, we are proof that your present isn't indicative of your destiny; why? Because we are our ancestor's wildest dream. The fact that we are in a position to strive for education, a place to use our free speech, and create the future we want. We further ponder what makes life worth living. For us, it is peace, true friendship, and legacy. What about you all? Our lives are all written for a specific purpose, and we will live our truths through the choices we make. Have you ever thought about what the next page of your book will say? As we all know, life is not for the faint at heart, and it should not be taken lightly. You deserve someone in your life that tells you what you need to hear, not what you WANT to hear. We further discuss black men and their increasing ability to be open. This is a great stride for the culture because, in previous years, a black male that showed feelings or shed tears was viewed a weak or, in some cases, less than. In that same breath, if you, as a black person, do something that isn't traditionally black, you are labeled as "weird," so we move on to why it may be "a problem" in the black community if you like. The change you want to see is the change you must create! We are worthy, we are tenacious, we are strong, and we are purposeful! The only way to erase the divide is to unite as a nation and treat each other as people, with respect and courtesy! Happy New Year It's Series 12 Episode 2 It is day 8 of the new year! Before we get started, how has your year been thus far? Mine has been insane hence the time of this post, and I am beyond sorry for that! If you guys follow me on IG @all.thatt.jazz, I made a post about how I was made fun of as a child for having dark skin, so much so they called me BEAST! My post more or less stated that I now understand they were telling me who I was before I knew! So 2022 is #BEASTMODE. So on today's episode, we continue with our discussion around the belief that financially affluent black people don't understand what it means to be black. Why do you believe that black people have crushed stereotypes, risen above our originally impoverished destiny to create a future of wealth and a foundation of success? We further speak about how we have furthered our culture through the pages of a book. We through a wild card in there of what never fails to liven up a party! We then move on to discuss, what are some hard truths in life that you have had to learn? PBID drops a bomb on us with, "You are the orchestrator of most of your problems." Have you ever stopped to take that realization in? As he leaves us speechless with that response, we begin discussing whether the black past proves the black future? Social Handles Insta: All. that. Can yall believe it's 2022 already? It feels like yesterday we got locked down, and the world ran out of toilet paper! WOW, time moves so fast! How was your 2021? What are you looking forward to in 2022? What was something you were thankful for? How will the next 365 days be different than the last? Full of questions, right? EXACTLY! Ask yourself the challenging questions so that you can push ourself to the next level! On today's show, we will be discussing whether or not we believe our story matters. Well, do you? Do you feel that the mistakes, lessons, triumphs, and setbacks that are part of your story will matter to anyone or even yourself? We also question why "the community" believes that financially affluent black people don't know what it means to be black. This, to me, is insane. The mere notion that I have achieved financial success and stability has somehow diminished my understanding of the blackness I was BORN into. What do you guys think? Social Handles Insta: All. that.
