Tonight’s reading comes from, The New Democracy, by Walter Vrooman. Published in 1897, the book focuses on the events leading up to the U.S Presidential election in the year 1900. While I don’t have a personal allegiance to any political party in U.S politics, it’s interesting to see the similarities between what’s happening today, and what was taking place 120 years ago. Special thanks to Castbox listener, Elyon McMickle, for your lovely review on the Castbox App. Thank you also to all the Patreon and Anchor sponsors that continue to support the show. I have been coping with insomnia for a month now. Even with sleeping pills, I still awaken in the night and sometimes have nightmares. I tried this podcast last night, I kept it on all night at low volume and it really did the trick! In the nicest possible way, your voice and the content is really boring! I will try again tonight, I feel well-rested today.

Great podcast, helps turning off the restless mind, and increasing the sleep. I've tried to get my partner involved but she said it sounds boring... QED ... some people you just can't help. 😅
