Boss Mares is a collaboration of three crazy friends that eat, sleep, and breath horses and share one thing in common, a passion for harness racing. Take the ride with us as we navigate the chaos of training a stable of racehorses, maintaining a household, being mom, and trying to stay sane. Grab a glass of wine, beer, or a cocktail and enjoy our bumpy (and sometimes hilarious ride).

Girl Moms - Season 4

Raising HORSE kids is no easy feat, but it certainly is the best way to raise them. Winnie and Ashley chat about being girl moms, forcing our kids to travel all the time, and what little ladies they have turned out to be (sometimes). Winnie shares information about her oldest daughter Clara's path to Texas A&M and how showing horses assisted her path to a NCAA D1 school. She also gives advice about how to set us a path for your kid if they are considering going the collegiate show route.

Boss Mare Gunjan Patel - Season 3 Episode 9

If you have ever bred a Standardbred, at one point you have probably spoke to Gunjan Patel on the phone. This strong and incredibly intelligent woman's voice may totally fool you. Although she is large in personality and work ethic, you may  be shocked when you meet her and see how much talent is in such a small package. As the Syndicate Administer and Social Media Coordinator at Hanover Shoe Farm, photographer, owner of an ETSY shop Beauty of Horses, and staking company Strong Finish Staking, Gunjan is one of the most respected ladies in the Standardbred breeding business.

Winnie and her daughters have spent a week at the AQHA Congress while Ashley wraps up her 2019 NBHA NJ01 barrel racing season. Winnie fills us in on her Congress trip and her bump in the road getting JayZ sound. Ashley is Breeders' Crown bound with her fingers crossed! Both girls chat about how the Congress and Breeders's Crown are the pinnacle of their sports and how honored they are to be apart of it.
