This trip is going to mend the broken marriage, and teach the boy how to survive, while also not being such a whiner. However, after only a few days into the trip, the plan falls apart. Without food, and having a few days to hike back to the car, they must rely on nature itself to survive. What is the deal with this family anyways? How will they survive out here in the wilds? Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast!  The Russians have contacted the SCP Foundation again. Since joining the Foundation, they certainly need a lot of help. Especially since Stalin died. But, when he died, certain secrets came to life. One particularly well kept secret was that Stalin had recovered a certain dictator’s body in Germany. Not only did he recover it, but he used occult resources and magic in efforts to bring him back to life, so he could cause him pain. However, he was a little too successful and brought back a now unkillable individual, but with a heightened sense of pain. This was very cathartic for him. But, the dictator’s former comrades came to rescue him, and now he’s on the loose. It is the job of the SCP Foundation to quickly find and apprehend this individual and determine if there is a way to kill him. Who is this mysterious dictator? Where was he taken? Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast!  The SCP Foundation continues to take form! Before the next investigation, some members of the foundation are concerned that there is a lack of ethics. Mostly because of sicking a serial killer cannibal on innocent people for seemingly no reason. It is decided that there needs to be an ethics committee to ensure actions like that don’t happen again! However, just outside of Chicago there are reports of children murdering their families, mutilating the bodies, and in some cases eating them. The foundation, as always, sends a crack team of investigators to see what’s going on. As the investigation goes on, it seems the children may not be anomalous, but something else in their lives is.  Who should be on the ethics committee? Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast!  Welcome to Season 9! For those of you who are not familiar, our seasons always begin with a liveshow. The first episode will definitely have a little different sound to them, than the normally recorded episodes. In this instance, we are playing in front of a crowd at Dragoncon! Normally, we change the setting every season…however, people seemed to enjoy the SCP season so much, we decided to do our own take on the origin of the SCP Foundation. And luckily, because there are so many universes, ours has its place too! This live show follows three members of the UIU, the Unusual Incidents Unit as they attend the 1953 World's Fair in St Louis Missouri. As these three venture through, other attendees are experiencing some very anomalous events. The person transporting them, Sean, will be coming back every few weeks to pick up whatever they find, and drop off more supplies. Beard was actually a brewery town. The brewery is the biggest building in the town itself. Everything seems pretty standard for a town abandoned for decades. However, inside the factory itself is a strange machine, leaking a sweet smelling viscous green goo.  Who are these adventurers? What are they hoping to find in this town?
