Bea & Linda take the fear out of short rows!Short Rows Definition: Short rows create vertical shaping in knitting. A short row is one in which you don't work to the end of the row; you stop and turn and work in the other direction. However, if you simply turn and start knitting in the other direction, your work will have a hole. The short row techniques are all methods to close that gap that is created by the turn.Short Row Techniques:WraplessWrap & TurnGermanYarnoverJapaneseSundayShadow (aka Mother/Daughter or Twin)CatchRaves:Bea - On The Spice Market by Melanie BergLinda - Virtual Vogue Knitting LiveMisbehaves:Bea - Kodikas Shawl by Caitlin Hunter Andrea Rangel 7 Tips for ColorworkSaves:Bea - Purl Soho VideosLinda - Make your own Short Row Swatch testing out all the methods.
