Hosts:Â Chris Tuck & Beverley Ann Fenlon
In this powerful continuation of the recovery series, Chris and Beverley dive deeper into the transformative journey of healing by exploring the art of listening to yourself. This episode focuses on reconnecting with the inner child, tuning into the physical body, and honoring emotional truth—all essential elements in the recovery process.
Through heartfelt conversation and personal insights, they discuss how survivors of trauma often disconnect from their inner voice and bodily signals as a survival mechanism. Recovery, they explain, involves gently rebuilding that connection, learning to trust your instincts, and embracing the wisdom within.
Whether you're on your own healing path or supporting someone who is, this episode offers compassionate guidance and practical reflections to help you step forward with greater self-awareness and emotional resilience.

Welcome back to Breaking The Cycle to StepForward, the podcast where healing, hope, and honest conversations come together. In this powerful episode, Beverley Ann Fenlon is joined once again by co-host Chris Tuck to explore a vital question in the recovery journey: Is healing best nurtured in a group setting, or through individual work?
Together, Beverley and Chris dive into the dynamics of group workshops—what happens when survivors come together, share, and support one another—and contrast that with the deeply personal impact of one-on-one recovery. Drawing from lived experience and professional insight, they unpack the strengths, challenges, and transformative potential of both approaches.
Whether you're navigating your own path or supporting someone else, this episode offers heartfelt reflections and practical wisdom to help you step forward with clarity and courage.
