There's a Canberra based business called Even Playing Field, started by a woman, that produces and stocks female specific sportswear and equipment. One of the things she cited early on was that football boots are designed for men's bodies and weight distribution which is thought to be one of the leading causes (in relatively new research) of ACL injuries in the AFLW and females playing in other football codes. www.evenplayingfield.com.au
