Mike Lefko, filling in for Brock and Salk, opens the show by discussing the Thursday Night Football game between the Buccaneers and Falcons, and specifically the colorful postgame sound from Todd Bowles. The hour starts with a delayed Blue 88 in which Brock dives in on Phillip Rivers, Rylie Mills and Jedd Fisch. Later, Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network joins the show for his weekly appearance and analyzes all things Seahawks, where they rank among the best defenses in the NFL, playing Phillip Rivers and the Colts this week, along with plenty more.
Brock and Salk debate if there is any pressure on the Seahawks as they are 10-3 gear up for the final four games of their regular season. Afterwards, they host an on-air contest with two show listeners to try and win Seahawks tickets for the Rams game. The game being titled "Is Lyle Smarter Than A 5th Grader".
The MLB Winter Meetings concluded and Salk asked Lyle about his entire experience there after just getting back. Then, they re-air their conversation with Brian Nemhauser (aka Hawkblogger) to discuss all things Seahawks. Salk also discusses further about where the second base market stands for the Mariners and is still intrigued by trading for Ketel Marte.

He breaks donw what he saw in the offensive turnaround from the first to second half, whether Darnold running a bit more was by design or not, the dominant defensve performance and Nick Emmanwori's big day, and predicting Rashid Shaheed's kickoff return for a TD.
This Seahawks team plays with an athletic arrogance and confidence that is not unlike the LOB era Seahawks but Brock says there is bit more humility with this team and that probably comes from the head coach and his approach. Then, in Need to Know, we discuss the Seahawks win over the Falcons, the M's trading Harry Ford to the Nationals for Jose Ferrer, WSU football coach Jimmy Rogers departing for Iowa State and fallout from the CFP decisions.

After 22, the M's introduced that horrific Home Run Trident and their offense has had as much growth as a napalmed rice patty field ever since. Look, this organization has issues, but they should not be this frustrating. Get rid of that thing.
Embarrassing game that should make the fan base wake up and revolt. Stanton should never be allowed to show his face near T-Mobile without drawn and quartered. oh, and another thing, the CCs suck and should be demolished on the pitchers' mound in a Disco demolition night inspired sacrifice to the Baseball Gods for forsaking this decent city for so long.
5 great pitchers can get you to the playoffs even with a league average offense, but only in the National League.
