After recapping the Starts gutsy series win, they jump into what happened with the Leafs against Florida, if the Knights should count themselves lucky after Pietrangelo only got 1 game, and if the Canes are the Eastern Conf wagon to jump on. Episode 1 is all about getting to know your hosts. All 3 of Broken Stix co-hosts are ex college golfers and avid hockey fans. Jeff (nickname to come) played at Fordham whereas Jay (Boog) and Andrew (Spear) were teammates at St. Edward's University. The show starts off talking about LIV and we give our thoughts on their 2023 campaign as well as how it compared to the Honda. After, we talk about how we think the PGA Tour can change who gets in to the non-elevated events, hopefully creating a path for KFT and Monday Qualifiers to find success. Finally, we delve into the NHL trade-deadline and give our thoughts on the 2023 playoff outlook.
