Hi! We're Rumbi, Mona and Nessa. Welcome to our first ever episode "I didn't know I was black". Our podcast is brunch style podcast exploring love, social issues, culture, pop culture, feminism and trending topics with a focus on the black community. In episode 2 of the Brunch & Bantu Knots Podcast, we explore a range of topics relating to feminism including; why women experience age shame, how African culture can inspire feminist ideologies, relationship dynamics and what it truly means to identify as a feminist. 
This episode is a light-hearted listen. This week we take a break from more heavy topics to catch up on what is trending in pop culture and how we've been keeping busy throughout lockdown. We talk entanglements, books, and mind rich people's business.
Tying off our pilot season is "Travel tales". We talk solo travels,  travelling to Zimbabwe, Brazil, Bali, Portugal, Malta, Burkina Faso, and our experiences of these places. 
Episode 8 : Today we're joined by Clytie who also goes by Tammy (@thatgirltammy on Twitter). Clytie an entrepreneur who owns London based skin care brand, BQLondon. She also owns the Melodee Box, a monthly subscription box for 0-4 year olds. On this episode we talked about various topics including starting a business or side hustle, imposter syndrome, and more! Episode 9 : Most of us would agree that when we started our first jobs, we had no idea what we were doing with our money. A lot of us are still figuring it out - it's normal. One huge aspect of being an adult is learning about money, and how to best make it work for you. In today's episode we go where the money resides... Our special guest, financial adviser Timi Merriman-Johnson, (@MrMoneyJar) shares his knowledge and answers some of our burning questions about finances and how to handle them.
