Behind every successful business is a story. It starts with a vision and a leap of faith. Along the way, leaders make bold decisions, ride booms and busts, and sometimes, they reach new heights. From Wondery, the makers of the hit series Business Wars, and Lindsay Graham, the host of American History Tellers and American Scandal, comes a weekly podcast that brings you the true stories of the brilliant but all-too-human businesspeople who risked it all. From Walt Disney’s creation of a theme park in Orlando, to the colossal failure of New Coke, Business Movers will explore the triumphs, failures and ideas that transformed our lives.

I will request to casters please share your opinions about the business model of moving companies. In my area Edmonton, there's much scope I see but unable to take final decision either I should start it or look for any other business model. I'm following this moving company https://albertafirstmoving.ca/ and if I start it, will follow their working method. BTW, what do you suggest?
Amazing podcast.
Wondery podcast series is wonderful. 👏
I am really enjoyed.
Any service has problems, the main thing is that they know how to solve them correctly, leaving their customers loyal. In case of problems, you can always find here https://uber.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html information on how to contact their support.
This looks like a re-upload of uber's last episode
Part 2? I think it's the same recording as part 1?
Many moving firms exist, however if you're planning a move in the near future, I recommend calling https://paradisemove.com/product-details/loading-unloading/ if you need help loading and unloading your belongings. A fair price is charged for their services, as they are the best in the business. I'm delighted to recommend this product because I've already tried it and had a nice experience with it.
Wow. The store manager in LA is one in a million. Not many would have thought to go get a customer to answer a question the big boss just asked of them. It sounds crazy. She knew enough to know that the big cheese had a reason to visit all these stores, she knew this customer well enough to trust he would say the right thing, and he whole perception of the moment was on another level. Lastly, she had the selflessness and let's not forget, balls, to respond this way. Most other managers would serve up a bullshit sandwich, praising themselves, their team, then themselves some more. Hope she has risen high in the company.
loving this series!
the source is broken
The British govt before Thatcher was Labour not Liberal as the episode states.
I listen 🎧 & was waiting to hear how Walt use to draw cartoons for his mum as a child As my daughter worked a Epcot she had to learn the history & secrets regarding Walt & Disney’s so if customers told her a story she had to act surprised So there’s a hell of a lot more to do with Disney that is much more sinister Please research more for coco cola as I’m a huge collector
This brilliant podcast is one of the best in its class. It shows masterful artisanship when it comes to voice acting and audio scoring, all whilst keeping the historical narrative accurate. This podcast has a distinct lack of detailed business analysis and instead opts for a more detailed storytelling experience. This choice makes the typical listener more entertained, but it can lead to some annoyances for a more business inclined audience. Although this podcast is by no means perfect, it merits a listen by anyone who enjoys business history.
