In this episode, we replay the very first episode and first interview Chad had. This is Chad's interview with Jason Wilmot. Jason began his life as a normal kid in the mid-west of the United States. He came from a supportive family and spent days on about 10 acres of land, playing with his sister, and enjoying life. Entering into college, he began studying to be a teacher. He learned he had a burning passion to help people learn. After becoming an elementary school teacher, Jason quickly found himself in a career where he loved helping the kids learn but didn't love being pushed to stay away from teaching "a certain way". Jason figured out ways of teaching that really helped information stick and was even named an  Apple Distinguished Educator (Class of 2015). He also became a published author and began keeping up a blog while teaching.Jason is the founding board member of The Bay which is "a home for misfits in Lincoln, Neb — a safe place to go, people who care, and something to do. Our programs aim to help young people dream bigger.".Jason's continued education eventually led to him having a Master's degrees in Educational Leadership and in Historical Studies, and a bachelor's degree in Education & Human Sciences. Yet, he says he's keen enough to know that deeds and actions trump a resumé any day.In the middle of his career as a teacher, Jason experienced some debilitating circumstances after a dangerous accident which lead to more problems down the road. Jason and his wife learned, after many years of trying to have kids, that there was for sure an infertility issue that made life a little more hectic. He and his wife were forced to sell properties to pay for treatments that eventually led to a stressful time where money was tight, but they did eventually have their first child. After a long and eventful search for a career that could bring in enough money to raise a family and give them the life that he wanted to, Jason started Hacktics.com which focuses on helping businesses scale and automate their time by building and selling sales funnels and leveraging paid ads systems to generate qualified leads "in their sleep".Now Jason shares his story in this episode and even lets us in on some secrets of "growth hacking" and how to make money online while we sleep after setting up the systems that will continue to yield a great return. For more info on Jason Wilmot:www.hacktics.com/www.jasonwilmot.com/email:jason@hacktics.comjason@jasonwilmot.comFacebook & weekly webinar:https://www.facebook.com/hacktics

In this episode, we speak with an amazing woman who has overcome obstacles and created a successful business with her husband in Virginia. Tanya Ison grew up in a low-income home and was used to people coming and going and doing drugs around her. She remembers a home life with her brother that wasn't suited for children and she doesn't recall many positive influences. As Tanya grew older, there was a gentleman from her church that began walking her to church and trying to be some light and positivity for her. This created a mindset that wanted more out of life. Tanya faced many hardships. However, she remembers one day, her father was taunting her mom while a gun was pointed at her. He told her to go ahead and pull the trigger...her life was worthless. At this point, Tanya decided to do something to get out of this. She decided that she wouldn't be a victim and wouldn't become like the people she had been around.Tanya experienced much more adversity as she was raped and decided to keep the baby. She decided to push as hard as she needed to ensure that she and her baby would survive and be ok.Tanya began searching for work as she got older and experienced several jobs where she excelled from listening and learning as much as she could about every position. She would master one position, move up, and get promoted as fast as she could.Eventually, Tanya landed a job in an Accounts Payable department and began to show how bad she wanted to be the best. She showed up early, stayed late, did other jobs after her work was completed perfectly, and became a valuable asset to the company. She quickly found herself at the top of each job she took on until she was a financial analyst. Simultaneously, Tanya's husband lost his job and they both heard about a couple at their church who was selling a business. This business was a non-medical transport business that was more than $13,000 in debt buying this, for Tanya, would mean leaving her career that she had worked so long to achieve. After much prayer and deliberation, Tanya and her husband made the decision to take the leap into the unknown. After they purchased the business, they worked tirelessly to establish great systems and business practices that would ensure their success. In less than a year they paid off all of the debt and began making money. They purchased new vehicles and hired more employees. This episode is a testament to the fact that any entrepreneur, business owner, career-minded person, or even someone that has no plans to venture out into entrepreneurship, can do it and succeed with the right mindset. In this episode we talk about Tanya's story, her success, what she did and currently does to better her mindset, and how others can achieve their version of success._____________________________________________________Congratulations to the winner of our Inspiration From Around the Nation Giveaway!Roman Olisa Mbaebie.
