David didn't follow Pastor Jim's rules for a happy marriage, but you can. Here they are:1) Remove Compromise and Commit to Christ2) Forgive the Things that happened in the past3) Talk through reasonable ways to express love for each other for whatever season you're currently in.4) Spend Time Together! Marriage is so important to our life on earth, so much so that God made it one of the first things in creation. Genesis 2 tells us so in Vss 23-24.
Jacob, struggled against God to gain his birthright, he created unnecessary conflict in his life with his scheming. He didn't surrender to God, but had he surrendered to God, he would have made his life a lot easier and better.
