The Chicago Blackhawks found themselves down 2-0 after 2 periods, but battled back for an exciting 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals at the United Center Tuesday night. And Arvid Söderblom had one of his best starts of the season!

The Chicago Blackhawks lost their 2nd straight game - and 7th of their last 8 - falling to the New Jersey Devils 4-1. The Hawks had a 1-0 lead going into the 3rd period, but then gave up 4 unanswered goals to New Yersey. Drew Commesso made one of the best saves of the year on Erik Haula in the 2nd period, but then allowed 4 goals in the 3rd period. The Blackhawks scored the first goal of the game for the 19th time this season, but could not find a way to add on, hitting posts and crossbars several times in this one. Jason Dickinson was the lone goal scorer for Chicago, his 6th lamp lighter of the season. Frank Nazar finished with 1 shot on goal. Connor Bedard had 2 shots on goal and 2 giveaways.
The Chicago Blackhawks grabbed an early 1-0 lead thanks to an incredible goal by Connor Bedard, but they allowed 2 goals in the 2nd period, and 3 goals in the 3rd period, falling to the New York Islanders 5-4. A frustrating loss to say the least. Could the lack of early offense be a precursor to Frank Nazar being called up to the NHL? We'll discuss on the CHGO Blackhawks Podcast.
The Chicago Blackhawks beat the New York Rangers 2-1 on Monday night to give new interim head coach Anders Sorensen his first NHL coaching win. Today, we'll examine the differences and similarities between Sorensen and former Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson. Also, ALLCITY senior hockey analyst Steve Peters joins the show to show us some examples of the Blackhawks improved play at Madison Square Garden on Monday.
The Chicago Blackhawks played an EXCELLENT 2nd period against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden Monday night, and held on in the 3rd period for a solid 2-1 win. Just the second win for Arvid Söderblom this season. The Hawks got a 1st period goal from Tyler Bertuzzi (6) and a 2nd period goal from Taylor Hall (6.) Connor Bedard picked up his team-leading 16th assist of the season on Hall's goal at 6:16 in the 2nd. It's also the first win for a Swedish-born NHL head coach (Anders Sörensen) in NHL history.
The Blackhawks welcomed the Winnipeg Jets to the United Center on Saturday afternoon and fell short 4-2 in a frustrating and familiar performance.
The Chicago Blackhawks fired Luke Richardson after a league-worst start to this season. General manager Kyle Davidson met with the media today to explain his decision. New interim coach Anders Sorensen also spoke after his first practice in charge. Jay Zawaski, Greg Boysen and Mario Tirabassi were there to cover it all and join you for a bonus episode of the CHGO Blackhawks Podcast.
The Chicago Blackhawks league-worst start costs Luke Richardson his job as he gets fired after two-plus seasons. Rockford IceHogs coach Anders Sorensen will take over on an interim basis. Jay Zawaski, Greg Boysen and Mario Tirabassi turn their cars around and head back into the studio on an emergency edition of the CHGO Blackhawks Podcast.
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Alex Vlasic join us on this episode of CHGO Blackhawks. In the interview, we talk about him not making Team USA's Four Nations roster, his bigger role in the absence of Seth Jones, and much more.
The Blackhawks welcomed the Boston Bruins to the United Center on Wednesday night and fell short 4-2 in a frustrating and familiar performance. The Hawks got goals from Alex Vlasic and Jason Dickinson in the loss.
Which Chicago Blackhawks players will make 4 Nations rosters? Will Connor Bedard make team Canada's stacked roster? Jay Zawaski, Greg Boysen and Mario Tirabassi make their picks for the 4 Nations Face-Off roster, including USA, Canada, Finland and Sweden. Will Patrick Kane get left off the team USA roster? What about Alex Vlasic's chances of playing for team USA as a young blossoming American defenseman?
The Chicago Blackhawks failed to score until the 3rd period, and fell behind 2-0 after 40 minutes in Toronto Monday night. Auston Matthews opened the scoring for the Maple Leafs, his first goal since returning to the Leafs lineup. Lukas Reichel got the Hawks on the board early in the 3rd period with his third goal of the season, but Chicago allowed Fraser Minten to score just 21 seconds later, a pattern that has been far too common for the Blackhawks recently. Is it finally time to call up Frank Nazar?
The Chicago Blackhawks were not able to cool off the suddenly red hot Columbus Blue Jackets Sunday at the United Center, falling by a score of 6-3. Connor Bedard kicked off the scoring with his 2nd goal in the last 3 games, but the Blue Jackets scored twice in the 1st period to take the lead. Craig Smith evened things up in the 2nd before Sean Monahan put Columbus back in front for good less than 2 minutes later. Petr Mrázek made what could be considered the save of the season in this one, but it was not enough as he allowed 5 goals on 35 shots.
After getting points in each of their last 3 games, the Chicago Blackhawks could not get past the Minnesota Wild Friday, falling 3-2 in regulation. Ryan Donato scored twice for the Hawks, giving him a team-leading 10 goals on the season. Connor Bedard finished with a team-high 4 shots on goal, and Petr Mrazek stopped 24 of 27 shots faced.
Taylor Hall scored his 5th career hat trick (first as a Blackhawk) and the Hawks beat the Dallas Stars 6-2. Connor Bedard scored his first goal since October 26th in Dallas (13 games.) Teuvo Teräväinen and Louis Crevier also scored for Chicago. Petr Mrazek stopped 25 of 27 shots he faced.

If these guys just stuck to hockey, I would love their content. Unfortunately, sports just can't be an escape anymore.

Jay is a simp. He has believed everything the plantiffs' lawyer has said without question. And as time goes by things have been shown are not true or exaggerated. Go figure a lawyer lying and embellishing in a lawsuit, who knew.

Jay's a good dude and his heart is in the right place, but it's guys like him that perpetuate the victimhood culture we currently find ourselves in. But the key is you have to be the right kind of victim to get the compassion.
