The National Corvette Restorers Society is embarking on something called the WE Initiative. WE stands for Women's Endeavor. The WE Initiative is designed to show female Corvette enthusiasts what the NCRS is all about and to encourage them to join the organization. The three women who are heading up the WE Initiative are on this episode of CORVETTE TODAY! Clive has literally been all over the world. He has made frequent trips to America where he has been on the Tail of the Dragon, the Grand Canyon, Route 66 and more. But Clive has been places that most of us only dream of. Clive has been to the Arctic, Africa, Spain and all over Europe. As a result of David's travels with Clive, he has also written 4 children's books about Clive's travels. The '63 Split Window is the car that got me into the Corvette world as a young boy! And now, there is a new documentary out about the 1963 Split Window Corvette. Sterling Logan and David Panton join your CORVETTE TODAY host, Steve Garrett, to tell you all about it! Sterling's father, Jerry, owns a silver '63 Split Window Corvette. That car is used as the basis for this film. David is the Director of the documentary. They also enlinsted the help of legendary Corvette designer, Peter Brock, into the film too. Peter drew the image of the C2 Corvette, which was untimately used for the C2 generation...talk about going straight to the source!
