Welcome to the autumn issue of For Your Ears Only featuring all the new books that have been added to the library over the last few months. In this edition, there is a short article from our Editorial Co-ordinator Denise James who celebrates some favourite books from childhood and highlights some titles that you may like to re-visit or discover for the first time.
Welcome to the winter issue of For Your Ears Only listing all of the new books added to the library in the last few months. 2017 was a bumper year with a staggering 800 new titles made available to borrow. In this edition are familiar authors and those that are in print for the first time. Among the more recognisable names is Rosamunde Pilcher with her popular title “September” and bestseller Dan Brown is back with his new thriller “Origin” featuring professor Robert Langdon. Peter James is well known for his Brighton based Roy Grace detective series but before this he wrote several ghost stories of which “Sweetheart” is one. The new names on the block are Daryl Gregory with his title “Spoonbenders” as featured on the Radio 2 Book Club and T A Cotterell with the contemporary thriller “What Alice Knew”. Finally “Our Zoo” tells the true story of George Mottershead the founder of the world renowned Chester Zoo.
