Dr. Tran is an alumna of both San Diego Mesa College and San Diego Miramar College.

In this episode of the California Community Colleges, Chancellor Oakley had the pleasure of speaking with the new California State University’s Chancellor, Dr. Joseph I. Castro. Dr. Castro is the eighth chancellor of the California State University system and the first person of color to serve in this role. They discussed the importance of the transfer pathways from community college to the CSU, and supporting the diversity within these two systems.
