Krystal, long time NFL Chiefs Cheerleader- On March 20, 2024, Krystal “Krissy” Anderson’s journey took an unexpected turn. After a brave battle against sepsis, she passed away. Her strength and resilience were evident as she faced unimaginable challenges. Krissy sought out hospitalization during her 21st week of pregnancy, and despite the trauma of losing her baby girl, Charlotte, during childbirth, she fought on. Her fight with sepsis, led to organ failure, and she was placed on life support. In the early hours of March 20, surrounded by her devoted family, sweet Krissy passed away. Join me, Krystal’s husband Clayton Anderson, and Dr. Justine Roper, owner and founder of InHer Physique (Pensacola, FL) as we remember Krystal Anderson, Charlotte Willow and James, and discuss the signs of Sepsis, how to advocate for yourself as a patient, and black maternal health.
