Oliver Callan brings listeners a weekly satirical swipe at well-known faces in the worlds of politics, entertainment and sport. Listen Fridays at 6.30pm on RTÉ Radio 1.
I appreciate the effort and talent at mimicry but Callan is simply not funny. He always seems to play the man, not the ball, and comes across as being even a bit nasty sometimes.
I appreciate the wit and work that goes into this, but it's just not funny. Not one laugh out loud moment this season. As satire, it's very, very poor. What's the point of it?
