Email us at [email protected] At some point in time, a government actually has to show results instead of announcements. We are happy to give credit to PM Carney for buying assets like planes, etc, but let's see some "nation-building projects." Maybe some jobs in Ontario would be helpful, instead of more layoffs. We'll point out the lack of a "Trump bump" in BC and Quebec, how trying to bribe Alberta may not have the desired effect, and more!
Email us at [email protected] BC Premier David Eby, now BC NDP Leader David Eby, has decided to call an election barely two years into his current mandate, and he's not exactly off to the best start. Going a ways east, Pierre Poilievre didn't start an Ontario by-election the best way either, and Mark Carney started the House of Commons with a big, beautiful bill. We wrap up with exciting CFL news, and more!
Email us at [email protected] What a time to be a political actor in Canada! Our Prime Minister is more enamoured with Europe than his own country, he can't seem to get anyone to invest in Canada, yet his opposition seems to view this to be the time to crumble into disarray (hello, Western Canada.) At least on this show, we'll always stand up for Canada!
Email us at [email protected] All slogans aside, Canada really needs to get its collective sxxx together. Pierre Poilievre visited New York City to talk to business media, and made the case for Canada well, then there's a BC problem that we wrap the show up with. While the Carney works to bring us closer to Europe, his government is working on which media we're allowed to trust. A Cabinet Retreat, a big investment summit, and more!
Email us at [email protected] It's sad that we have to ask that question, but this is where we're at. Our Prime Minister is more enamoured with Europe than Canada, and is more upset about American memes than about trade uncertainty with the United States (even though it helps his polling numbers.) Why are we paying triple for VIA Rail cars? Why do our politicians have to be our spokespeople to investors? Would Alberta really be better off as a 51st State of the US? And more!
