There's nothing like tragedy, chaos, or some serious drama to disrupt your life. Though it may be uncomfortable, disheartening, and shake you to your core, it also breaks patterns and creates space for something new.
Today I'll be sharing with you how my sister's passing is a still a gift, even after twenty-two years.
Sometimes you need to be done with things. It's not always as easy as it sounds, though. Those moments where your heart sinks, and you feel like you could cry and sometimes do...behind closed doors, those are the moments that you need to be done with.
This is an invitation for you to consider what are those moments and are you ready to let them go?
Thoughts to Consider
Hugs,
Amy
Your gut instinct can save your life.
Today is an emotional share with you. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw when I walked into the room at the Emergency. I thought I was just going to pick my daughter up, but that's not what happened.
Far too often we put our faith in the professionals who stand in front of us and abandon our own knowing. There's a truth pulsing through your veins and it can and will, Save Your Life.
It's important that you Know, Own and Live Your Truth, and express it, no matter the circumstance. It just may save your life.
Here's the link for the first Facebook post that I did, on behalf of my daughter. - https://www.facebook.com/amymcnaughtonbizpage/posts/325441825820149

Quite often the signs that you are waiting for are hidden right before your eyes. That’s right. They’re hidden in plain sight.
Join me today as I show you how to recognize signs, in a way that might surprise you.
* This is a recording from a Live stream that I did and it was too good not to share with you here.
Today is the perfect time to talk about being a woman and a mother and the challenges that present.
We talk about the challenges among ourselves but we don't share too much. We keep our cards close to our chest and we don't let anyone know what's really going on. But what's really going on in our heads. What are we saying that never slips through our lips.
In today's conversation, I'm a little edgier than I normally am, but then again...I get to create my new norm every day that I wake up.
Grab a tea and your favorite notebook or journal and get comfy for today's episode of Candid Conversations with Amy.
Have you broken free from old habits and ways of being or...are you recreating new bad habits - ones that are limiting you?
Often we accept and tolerate what has always been. It's really nothing more than habits that we've been emersed in for years. But what if you broke away from that old programming. What could your life look like? What could it be like?
Join me today as I share what it was like for me when I lived in a bubble and what it took for me to break away from it.
There are lots of thoughts to consider, so grab a notebook and a cup of tea or coffee, and let's get started.
Hugs,
Amy
Today I'll be keeping it real, as I share some of the changes that have been happening in my life. I'll also share with you how I'm moving through them. You'll learn what questions to ask yourself, in order to stay in flow and in alignment with who you are, are you move through your challenges.
This episode is short, sweet and besides being to the point, it's also kind of fun.
If anyone had told me that the passing of my sister would have been an opportunity for me to change my life twenty years ago, I would have thought that there was something wrong with them. That clearly they had never lost anyone, or they wouldn't have said something so uncaring.
In today's episode, I'll share that sadness can definitely be a catalyst for something good. You just need to understand how to move through what you're experiencing, with a bit of a different perspective.
Though it can be challenging to celebrate the holidays, especially if you've lost someone dear to you, you'll discover today how looking at their passing through new lenses, can make you feel better and...make them proud of you too.
As we step into the holiday season, no doubt that memories from the past will start surfacing. Memories that may or may not, feel good.
Are you holding grudges or resentment towards others? Do you feel that you need to give voice to them?
I share some old memories that surfaced for me, that I haven't thought about in 50 years. They're also memories that I've never shared with anyone before.
Today's episode is a deep dive into forgiveness and how approaching it from a different perspective, can help to dissolve feelings from the past.
Grab yourself a cup of tea and your notebook. There are lots of golden nuggets in today's episode.
Do you wait to do things because the timing isn't right? In this episode, we're going to explore how your beliefs and the stories you tell yourself, may be holding you back.
I'm also going to share some thoughts around distractions and how they can be a benefit, and when they aren't. That means they'll be easier for you to identify as you move forward in your everyday life.
Today's episode is short, sweet, and to the point. Even with my groggy voice, I'll share some important thoughts that will invite and allow you to consider things differently.
Have you ever felt like your a little off but aren't really clear why? Or maybe you feel like you can concentrate and that your energy is all over the place. Then you're not going to want to miss this episode.
So what's at the root of this ill at ease feeling, that seems to be consuming your whole body?
Are you overworked and tired, or is it something else?
In today's episode, we'll be discussing purging, letting go, and deleting. If you think that it sounds like this has to do with housekeeping, old thoughts, or your computer, you'd be right on all counts.
We'll be playing with metaphors as I share a personal experience that happened to me, and how it can also be an opportunity for you.
It's a fun and playful episode and it's short and sweet.
Is there anything more challenging than saying no to others? However, imagine what it would be like to say no, with ease, and...free of guilt?
Today's conversation is going to be addressing the challenges of saying no. Saying yes isn't a challenge because you learned at a very young age how saying yes to everyone else, kept them happy. But how about you? Were you happy...or was your body telling you something different?
Join me in another Candid Conversation, while we dive in deep and explore what else is possible for you.
My guess today will be Shannon, and if you heard last week's episode, you know that you're in for a treat.
Get ready for another fun-filled ride, as we lovingly press the edges of what a lot of us were taught to believe.
Today I'm joined by Shannon. She's a woman who opened herself up to exploring the possibilities of life.
This candid conversation is filled with great offerings of things to consider, along with a healthy dose of laughter and just the right amount of silliness. She'll share some of her challenges and some of the things that were easier to change than what she believed.
Shannon is quite open with sharing where she was in life, and where she is right now. By the way, making changes doesn't have to be hard. In fact, it can be a lot of fun.
Welcome to this episode where you'll get a feel for what it means to let go of perfection, and simply have fun exploring and enjoying life.
In today's episode, we're going to explore how to pay attention to what's moving through you.
Are the voices in your head drowning out the sensory cues of your body? Whose voices are you hearing? If they're not yours, then it's time to stop letting them sabotage you. It's time to honor and have fun with the whispers from your soul.
I'm also going to start to play more with metaphors so that you can learn how to tap into the messages that are presenting to you...for you, every day.
And now, let's explore today's episode.
Out of all the things I've ever done in my life, the one thing that has been the most challenging, and continues to be, is Being Me.
In this episode, I'll offer you thoughts to consider about your everyday life, and how to start showing up more and more in your life. Being you, and being and Full Expression of you is what you were born to be.
Learn about why it's so important and how to do it with more ease. You were born Magnificent and to be the Best You Can Be. That means listening to your inner truth.
Now, grab a cup of tea or coffee and get comfortable while you take a moment to consider new possibilities.

Are you limiting yourself by seeing yourself through someone else's eyes?
Have you ever noticed that you behave differently around different people? If so, there's a good chance that you're not being your very best.
In this episode, we're going to explore how getting caught up in old stories, not only limits your potential but those who are in your life, as well.
Buckle up, because this episode is one heck of a ride.
In this episode, I'm going to share some thoughts, that just may surprise you.
We see posts all over the place that say, "You Are Enough," but are they accurate?
Why is it that you don't feel that you're not enough?
It's time to stop comparing yourself to others and put away your ruler. You don't need to measure up to anyone else, nor do you even want to measure up to who you were yesterday.
Get ready for a shift in perspective that just might make you feel good about Not Being Enough. ;)
Do whatever it takes to embrace whatever calls to you in life.
What do you need to do to embrace that calling?
Who do you need to become?
Who do you need to surround yourself with?
Do your beliefs serve you? Do the people you surround yourself with, do their beliefs serve you?
Get clear on what you desire and surround yourself with people who love you for who you are.
Be with those who know your heart, and you'll never have to explain what's going on in your mind.
Be the Best You Can Be, because... Your Life Matters.
Every thought you have, plants a seed. What is it that you desire and are your thoughts in alignment with what you want to come into fruition? It's not enough to have mantras or write and speak the words if you're not feeling them.
Everything in your life starts with you. You have the power to create and do Great things in your life.
When you feel like you're winning in your life, that energy emanates from you and others feel like winners in their life. Your energy affects others. It helps them to feel and be stronger and more confident.
Remember that everything starts with you. Get clear on what you desired and place your focus and energy on that one thing, and watch it grow into something Magnificent.
