If so, who are you? - What principles can we learn from the fact that they were all paid equally? - Will this teaching be acceptable in the world that we live in today? Why?   - Jesus was despised and rejected – His teachings are radical, His love for us is radical (John 15:13), and the way He calls us to follow Him is radical (Luke 14: 25-35).   - Share and discuss times when you have been despised and rejected for being a follower of Jesus. Why is this so?   Prayer Points: 1. Pray for the staff of CECC. Strength and wisdom as they fight against spiritual opposition. 2. A young dad in our church whose father recently had a stroke. Pray for healing and peace. 3. Guidance and wisdom for a man in our church who is having to help sort out an abusive relationship of a family member.   4. A young man in our church is having irregular heart fibrillations. Pray for his healing. 5.Pray for Bill and Lynne Eversham. Bill’s mum passed away recently. Pray for Revival Week - that it will be a week of people coming together to worship and celebrate God’s goodness. Pray for wisdom and strength for all involved in organizing. 2. Pray that we will see first time decisions on Sundays at church and that people will be inspired to bring unsaved friends and family. 3. A gentleman in our church is currently being monitored for some abnormalities in his heart. Pray for complete healing and strength in his body from this issue.   4. Pray for his physical, emotional and mental healing - freedom from drug addiction. 2. Pray that we will see first time decisions on Sundays at church and that people will be inspired to bring unsaved friends and family. 3. Continue to pray for Claire Holland and Darren Nimmo as they battle with severe illness requiring treatment and surgery - Healing and strengthening. 4. Pray for more volunteers to rise up and assist in departments of the church - Kidzway, Connect Team, Creative Edge/Production teams. 5. Pray for Ps. We thank Jesus for a successful operation for Janine Loftie-Eaton who had surgery on her neck. Pray for a quick recovering and healing. 2. Pray for out missionaries, Serg and Siobhan Reinhard as they talk with the Uruguayan government as to a possible visa. 3. Pray for our Watchmen and Edge Girls programs as they get underway in 2021. Pray that we will see many men and women open their hearts to Jesus through these events. 4. Pray for our 'In-house' youth camp coming up - that our youth will receive a powerful touch from God. 5. A man in our congregation has just been diagnosed with a serious heart condition. Pray for his healing.
