Captain Hippo Pleases The Cube

Oh SHIT you're not going to believe this but Nathan Min (Joe Pera Talks To You, Ten Year Old Tim, other things) has entered the Cube and is ready to throw down with the boys in the most very best of ways. Ring the damn church bells because we've got a barn burner on our hands here! Our buddy friend Lauren Adams (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, UCB) has found her way into the Cube to do some fun laughs with the boys. Listen in as we visit a Thanksgiving dinner, hear people pitch their business ideas, check in on a tense play rehearsal, and try some dessert bagels. It's an incredible episode. ALSO!!! It's a family affair in the Cube this week! We are joined by Mike's lovely cousin PJ who tells us about his life on Staten Island before we do some scenes based on his stories. What is a man besides a jumble of skin and guts and hair? We wish we knew the answer to that important question but unfortunately, we don't. What we do know is that George Kareman (Man Thinkers, Funny or Die, other things) is in the house this week talking "Testosterone"!  Listen in as George and the boys try and figure out if a baseball player is using steroids, what it takes to donate sperm, what it takes to buy a sick car, and what life is like working on the Home Depot hotline. 

Who has joined us in the Cube this week? Why it's none other than Mr. Darren Miller (Funny, or Die, other cool things)! He joins the boys inside their beautiful (awful) Cube home to talk about "HANDS and FEET". Listen in as two men go to a Palm Reader, we tune the dial to Sports Radio, a nervous groom tries to overcome his cold feet, and a reporter interviews some very fast runners. Mama freakin' Mia we have a special one for you this week! On the podcast is our personal best buddy Don Fanelli (A League of Their Own, New Jersey Is The World, etc)  and he is helping us make good laughs about "Garlic" so the Cube is nice to us. Finally, we have somebody who is actually freakin' happy to be in our stinkin' Cube! That happy-go-freakin-lucky person is our dear friend Cathryn Mudon (Dollface, Broad City, etc.) She's bringing all the energy to our episode about "BUBBLES." Welcome to... Jurassic Park! Wait - no - sorry, I meant the Cube. Welcome to the same ol' stinkin' Cube! What isn't the same old shit this week? Our guest! Our guest is new and better than ever! Joanna Bradley (SNL, other things) joins the boys as they try and make the Cube happy for the 21st time. Listen in as a restaurant staff prepares for dinner, some kids try and buy alcohol, wedding guests send their best, and some new neighbors come over for a hot Jonathan! 

"Hey Cube/Mom, can Josh Gondelman come over and play?" That is precisely what we said to Cube/Mom before she sucked the one and only Josh Gondelman into our waking hell of a world! Thanks Mom/Cube!! Josh Gondelman (Last Week Tonight, Desus & Mero, "People Pleaser") helps the boys make up some shit about "SNEAKERS" so that we'll be allowed to live another day. Listen in as a heist is planned, a dunk is slammed, a club is bounced and antiques are roadshow'd! 

It's that very special time of year when we premiere our 19th episode! You all thought we could only do 18 episodes but MAN were you WRONG! Anyway, enough about how wrong you were (and it was so much) because joining the boys in the cube is our friend Amy Hoggart! (FeManism Podcast, Full Frontal with Sam Bee) In this episode, Amy helps the boys create some content about "Deep Voices" and it's cheeky as hell. Listen in as we visit a pottery class for men, audition to do the voiceover for Planet Earth, explore the deepest seas, and help a man stuck in a well. I hate to bring this up again but you all were so wrong about us only being able to do 18 episodes... 

The boys are back in town (the cube) for our new season of episodes! Kicking things off with us stinky little guys is our best of friends -- Travis Helwig! Listen in as we learn about the human body, meet a movie star, enjoy some excellent parkour, and burn some calories in some totally normal workout classes! Will this be the season that the boys finally escape their horrible prison??? (It's not!)

The boys are back for the premiere episode of SEASON TWO of Captain Hippo Pleases The Cube! And guess what kids? They're not alone because guest Mark Vigeant has been stuck inside the freakin cube with them and he's gonna try and get those cheeseburgers! Listen in as a company deals with a hacker, a conversation between NASA and moonbase 1, a tricky hard drive recovery and explore the endless variety of VR. New episodes coming out every two weeks! (most of the time.) 

Your eyes do not deceive you, it's time for another installment of Captain Hippo Pleases the Cube! This time the boys get some help from Siobhan Thompson as they try to give the Cube some incredible comedic content about the word "Spicy"! In this episode, our crew will visit hell (scary), try and get some car maintenance done at a pepper-themed mechanic (confusing and scary), and call into a sexy sex hotline (scary and also a little confusing.) Listen in and find out if they're able to please the Cube or if this is the week they finally get turned into skeletons! 

On this episode of Captain Hippo Pleases The Cube the boys welcome their second guest EVER! One, Glenn Boozan, who will try her best to help the boys escape their cube-y prison! To do that the boys (and Glenn, of course) must give the Cube content about "Attitude" which is easy for the boys because they've got too much of that junk. Join us as we drop in on an after-school detention, go inside a high-profile meeting about colors, listen in to a radio show about love and eventually end up in a serious meeting with HR. Just another day inside the Cube!

She will help save the boys from being turned into skeletons and honestly? They need the help.
