The episode starts on a somber note as the guys remember Kobe & GiGi Bryant as well as the other passengers lost a year ago. The conversation quickly turns to expected deaths, particularly in Hip Hop. Somehow, the conversation gets back to Kobe, but only for a moment. But then @chefturk and @theealoofgenius decide to have an intervention with @drinking4sanity32 about is conservative opinions on the past few podcasts. The conversation goes about where you would expect it to. Finally, to close out the podcast, one of guys announces that he has launched an OnlyFans page!

On this episode of the Cashmere Thoughts podcast, @drinking4sanity32 @chefturk are joined by friend of the show, Kenny to hold the fort down in @theealoofgenius absence. They start the podcast giving their thoughts on the latest in the DJ Akademiks vs Meek Mill beef that seemingly has no end in sight. Next, the guys discuss YFN Lucci and the situation that he’s involved with in where a friend is dead. The discussion then goes to how 45 has finally drops his list of pardons and how he’s trying to win points with the culture by freeing Wayne, Kodak Black and legendary drug kingpin Harry O. During the conversation, @drinking4sanity32 asks why didn’t Barack Obama didn’t do more to free some figures in the culture.
After the break, the guys discuss the difference between a man wanting a baby but the woman getting an abortion and a woman having a baby while the man walks out. Another friend of the show, @chefturk’s Aunt Netta calls in and gives her thoughts about how such situations should be handled.
What a week! The guys start the pod off with their thoughts on the Capitol breach. @drinking4sanity32 decides to play devil’s advocate and compares the domestic terrorist to individuals who die over their neighborhood. During the conversation, progress in the Black community is brought up, to which both @chefturk and @theealoofgenius reach a conclusion that their cohost just might be MAGA.
After a smoke break, @chefturk asks the group if we support Black businesses enough, in particular Master P and his pending purchase of Reebok and the lack of Black designers in the fashion industry.
