ok I am a complete idiot.... I admit it. I have literally listened to the episode 5 times and I SI.PLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE CRYPTIC LAST WORDS.... Firstly, I get the theme of atlanta having a "caring problem" meaning they didnt seem to care that much about the women of color being hunted in the streets for weeks and weeks. I get it when B.T. says they didnt have a housekeeping or servant problem, they had a caring problem. BUT after hearing the albeit awesome description of the funeral of the civil war hero, I DO NOT GET THE LINE that after the funeral, it was "obvious that NOW EVERYONE CARED". WHY did the funeral make the white community start caring, or otherwise will someone explain that line PLEASE. I have listened over and over thinking I missed the linking line or something. but I cannot find it anywhere.
