Celebrating 10 Years! 1992 - 2002 - Video

The Center on Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership began in 1992 as a multidisciplinary, university-wide center developed with the support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Grand Valley State University. In 1999, the Center was renamed in honor of Dorothy A. Johnson and her distinguished career. In 2002, the Johnson Center celebrated it's 10th anniversary with a week long celebration. This video was created in 2002 and premiered at our 10th anniversary community reception. The video shares the history of the center along with interviews from several of the people that were instrumental in the center's creation.
