30. M.I.A World Funk

2020-11-2612:11

Have you ever just had enough and then you end up in a funk.  Well, I did and I stayed away from the podcast so my negative energy didn't spill into you all. I had a big week of nothing which lead to massive cleaning and reorganizing to avoid what was going on in the world and my head.  Then I pulled my big girl pants on and some loud music to get myself back to normal.  Things can get hard but we can't stay in the that state too long and it's not easy to get out sometimes.  We need to support one another and put more joyful things into our lives. Happy Thanksgiving
I have been feeling overwhelmed with world events so I decided to go back to the basics and do somethings that spark joy. Christmas decorating outside, buying a full set of flatware since I only had mismatched and limited forks and new frying pans. It's the little things for me and I feel in control and the racing mind settles down.
Moms I feel you and we have been through a lot these past months.   Remember "faith small as a mustard see can move mountains" Matthew 17:20
It is difficult for anyone to let go of some items but guess what it is not your fault we are wired this way in our culture from a very young age.  They actually do scientific studies to learn more about the WHY... Take a listen and I will let you in on the secret.
