Description
One of the best parts about being human is, well, being human. All of the people we consider great were ordinary humans. What made them great was they chose to hone something they were passionate about. I believe everyone has some experiences or a skill or a story they want to talk to someone about. This show attempts to bring people together to have an intellectual conversation, for me and my audience. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kunal05/support

In this episode, I discuss what it is like to be an activist in mental health with one of my friends, Macy Lee. Among other things, we discuss the cultural impact on mental health, how important community is and cultural impact on the community, and how much she herself has learned from her interactions with other people in the same field.

In this episode, I analyze what I felt went wrong in the school culture of my upbringing. I try to explain, to the best of my capacity, my experiences and look at it retrospectively with my life experiences in the 5 years after I have graduated.

According to Svanik and I, life in itself is characterized by tragedy. Drawing from modern philosophy and experiences from our own lives, we came up with reasons as to why we believe in the tragedy of life, how to recognize it, and how to live with a little more awareness.

@bhadwememes is one of the funniest and offensive, dank meme pages on Instagram. Making memes throughout the political spectrum, he receives online hate from all parts. Poking fun at the Stan culture, an entire army "goes after him". Calling out the hypocrisy surrounding the new wave of Content Creators, his DMs are also flooded by their fans. How does he deal with this online hate? Why is he more wary of one side of the spectrum? What is the problem both of us see with this "new wave of Content Creators"? Why does he curb his edginess? Listen to this episode to find out.

D-Tab is one of my friends from my school days and has found his voice in rap. Starting it at a young age, he has been in the studio working on his music for quite some time now. Even though he was on the receiving end of a lot of ridicule, he found the strength to continue following his passion, with the support of the ones who meant a lot to him obviously.

MemeMandir has been a trailblazer on the front of Indian meme creation. He is one of the first channels to bring the concept of "dank memes" and apply it to aspects of Indian culture, like movies and news channel broadcasts. I had the pleasure to speak with him on his content creation process, and how his memes impact him in the current political climate, how he feels memes are art, and how much he appreciates his community. And of course, we spoke about Dogecoin. Tune in till the end to find MemeMandir's words of wisdom for everyone out there. Overall, this episode was new to me too, because, for the first time, I switched between Hindi and English, and for the first time, my podcasting helped me find a new friend.

For this episode, I interview one of India's most famous comedians, Mr. Atul Khatri. Before finding his passion in stand-up comedy, he did what he calls "CEOgiri". Among other things, we chat about how he found this passion could earn him money, how stand-up comedy helped him as a CEO and vice versa, and how he builds relatability with an audience.
From him and his story, I learned how to do anything outside your comfort zone, it is necessary to take that "first step" - to get over the anxiety, to get over the fear of judgment, and just go for it. But, if we do, we should be driven enough to give our 100%.

Being hardworking, trustworthy, and resourceful, he is always ready to help with a smile. Krisha is an old schoolmate who I really got in touch with only after graduating. Besides having an amazing sense of humor, I find her blog and her style of approaching life innovative and inspiring, honestly. Listen to us talk about her blog and how she creates content, how our school was toxic to us in many ways, and how quarantine-caused introspection changed both of us (P.S.: We still have a lot of sarcasm and jokes and a sitcom laugh track moment).

Julian "Talent" Poetry, as I like to call him because of his prowess in poetry, painting, and musing, has always been an inspiration to me because of his strife for perfection and beauty in everything he does in life, be it in writing an intimate piece of poetry or painting a mural. Listen to him talk about how observation plays a role in his poetry, how he wishes to rejuvenate when he is exhausted, how pain generates empathy for everyone, how he disconnected from obsessions, and why YOU should write poetry.

Muskaan is someone I have spoken to only recently, but she quickly rose up the ranks of my friends to become one of the best friends I have had in a long time. I genuinely appreciate her intellect and her ability to give her all to her friendships and understand her friends and care for them. Listen to her talk about her blog, her major, how both of them connect with her identity as a South Asian woman in STEM, how she has grown from fake friendships in quarantine, and how she sets boundaries.

Sabahat Naqvi is one of the kindest and respectful people I know. From being someone who led me, to becoming one of my best friends who I could always rely on for support, I find joy in talking to him, as I always feel understood, heard, and always, always get something new to think about from our conversations. Listen to him talk about how he tries new things, how his leadership positions impacted his thinking and reinforced his own ideals, and about how he believes social media is a good tool for an activist but is not enough at the same time.

The only accurate way to describe Vanya Bhardwaj would be "the twin sister I never had". Always have appreciated talking to her about anything. Listen to her talk about how she has stayed single for a year now and how she finds happiness and validation in that and how and why she chose to study to be a neurosurgeon. She also plays an Uno reverse card and asks me questions, putting me on the spot to answer some of them. But, all in all, I had fun answering these questions.
