If you’re looking for the ultimate New York City escape—especially if you’re single, recharging, or just need a reset—let me tell you about my stay at The Civilian Hotel, because it genuinely changed my whole vibe. I stayed there over Halloween weekend, and from the moment I walked in, the energy was warm, welcoming, and honestly exactly what I needed. As a single woman out here building my career, hustling, and dealing with life the way we all do, it felt so good to be somewhere that actually supports you taking care of yourself. And I want to say this to all the single women listening—actually anyone listening: Treat yourself. Book the trip. Take the staycation. You deserve it. At Civilian, I left feeling lighter, happier, and more positive about everything in my life. The staff? Truly next-level. So professional, so attentive—like, every little thing I needed, they took care of it without hesitation, without an issue, without me feeling like I was asking for too much. They even organized my entire itinerary for the weekend. I didn’t have to stress or plan anything—they had it all mapped out for me. That’s the kind of service that just makes you breathe easier. And of course, the fun part: the Rosevale Cocktail Lounge. Their signature dishes and cocktails were unreal—flavorful, creative, and honestly addictive. Then we took things upstairs to the Starchild Rooftop Lounge, where the views, the music, the ambience… everything was perfect. That rooftop alone makes you feel like you’re in a movie. Because it was Halloween weekend, the night only got better—we headed to Heidi Klum’s iconic annual bash, where she showed up as Medusa. Only Heidi can pull off a costume that extra and make it look effortless. We ran into RHONY legend Kelly Bensimon, a bunch of celebs, and danced the night away with my girl Soo Ra, who is not only hysterical but one of the best comedians I know. Check our Instagrams for all the behind-the-scenes moments. But the truth? As amazing as the party was, what made the weekend special was where I stayed. Civilian made me feel taken care of, supported, and uplifted. Sometimes you don’t realize how much you need that until you’re in it. So if you’re planning a trip to NYC—or if you’re local and just need a mental refresh—trust me, book a stay at The Civilian Hotel. Brunch, amenities, cocktails, vibes, top-tier service… they have everything covered. Treat yourself. You’ll walk out feeling better, lighter, and ready to take on the world.
