Today I share a deeply personal episode of Change In Course. This is not a story of despair; it's a testament to resilience, growth, and the unwavering human spirit. In 1988, the Navy frigate USS Samuel B. Roberts was tasked with escorting Kuwaiti oil tankers in and out of the Persian Gulf. Iraq and Iran were at war, a conflict often referred to as the "Tanker War." However, we also explore the other side of loss and grief: community support, immense gratitude and love.
