Special guest speaker, Adrian Despres, comes and talks to our Upper School students during Chapel Reset week.Today, Adrian challenged students with the picture of 4 chairs. A reminder that every one of us is sitting in one of them:Chair 1 – Those who are fully alive in Christ, burning with love for Him, eager to tell the world about Jesus.Chair 2 – Saved, but lukewarm. Talking the talk without walking the walk.Chair 3 – Believing they’re living in faith but really just holding onto someone else’s relationship with Christ.Chair 4 – Still searching, not yet in a relationship with Jesus.This message pushed our students to pause and ask themselves honestly: Which chair am I in? Am I living boldly for Christ, or settling into comfort and routine? Is my faith my own, or am I just borrowing faith from others?The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what chair we find ourselves in today, Jesus is inviting us closer. He calls us out of lukewarmness, out of borrowed belief, out of unbelief and into a life fully surrendered to Him.
