From May 16th to May 18th I was in Washington D.C. for Meta's Meta Boost Gather event. They paid for my flights, hotel, transportation, and even covered food while there. The best part? I wasn't alone. Joined by 499 other business owners I was able to collaborate, meet, and network with other amazing members of the Leaders Network. Prior to this event, I couldn't help but think about a previous one I attended and didn't make the most of. It's vital that when the right opportunity occurs, you don't waste it.

To celebrate Mashman Ventures' second birthday, I wanted to have a conversation on the subject of public relations. In this episode, I discuss what it is, how narratives are directed, what PR firms typically do for businesses and individuals, and why it's beneficial to hire one for your own use (such as Mashman Ventures). Oh, also don't forget to pay the fee :) This episode of Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman was edited via Podcastle.ai. This can be as simple as holding the door open for someone at a store or helping an elderly neighbor with their trash. Good deeds are done without seeking reward, but ironically you'll be rewarded regardless. Good deeds make you feel good. We've all heard the "be your authentic self" spiel before. Some guru or motivational speaker tells you to find authenticity in your life and be authentic to your audience, yet leaves you with a feeling of confusion and lack of direction. I believe that by pursuing authenticity you are actually setting yourself up to be inauthentic. I explain why in today's episode of Chase the Vision.
For the first time publicly, I am directly sharing my perspective on the investor's market. I've gotten into heated debates on the subject, but in this episode, I speak about cryptocurrencies, the Metaverse, NFTs, real estate, and even stocks. I don't expect to be agreed with, so don't go messaging me saying I'm 100% wrong and some skeptic. You have your beliefs and I have mine. Only time will tell who's right in the long term.
It's safe to say that all of us at one time or another have given advice to a person who was asking. I think it's also safe to assume that we gave that same person the same advice, with little variation, more than once. When does your advice lose its value? When should you set a boundary with the person on the asking end? As a bonus, I talk about how to deal with clients who aren't doing what you have told them to do, therefore hindering their received results.
Losing momentum from time to time is a fact of life and a hard-learned lesson in business. What I have seen happen is one oftentimes loses interest or focus in one area and begins subconsciously redirecting that same energy towards another. This, in a traditional sense, is known as burnout. How do you get back on track after a period like this? How can you reestablish the momentum you once had and even supersede it? In this episode, I cover 3 steps you can use to regain momentum in whatever situation you may be in. Don't dwell on what happened, imagine what has yet to. As a bonus, I include a 4th step that can help prevent the same thing from happening in the future.
Since Clubhouse's launch in 2020, there has been a slew of new social audio apps come to market. It's important that with these new applications, there are features that stand out. One such app is Wisdom. I was personally asked to come on as an early beta user in September 2021 and have since stuck around because of the uniqueness it offers. Today I have the opportunity of interviewing Wisdom's founder and serial entrepreneur Dayo Akinrinade about her start-up and dive into her other ventures and previous achievements. 86. Why Not?

There can be multiple reasons why you do what you do. Why you're working as hard as you are. Finding your "why" is what according to many is the thing that leads you to success. I, on the contrary, believe it to be not only a buzz phrase that has been thrown around quite a bit in recent years but also a subject of contemplation. Rather than asking "why" try asking "why not?" Why not pursue your potential? Why not start that business? Take back your power with this question.
