Host Evin Priest is joined by 2005 US Open winner Michael "Cambo" Campbell and his former caddie Mike "Sponge" Waite. Cambo famously held off Tiger Woods down the stretch of the 2005 US Open at Pinehurst, creating sporting history for New Zealand in becoming the first ever Māori to win a Major championship. Cambo channelled plenty of Kiwi spirituality during the final round, and he opens up on his Māori roots, growing up in New Zealand and giving back to the game he loves.
In episode 13, Steve Williams takes Evin Priest through the 2008 US Open - the last major Tiger Woods won with Williams on the bag. Williams provides never-before-heard details about Woods' epic triumph at Torrey Pines, his 14th major. Williams also touches on the impact Woods' off-course scandal in 2009 had on their working relationship, as well as his legacy as (arguably) golf's greatest caddie.
Esteemed golf writer Bob Harig joins Evin Priest in a bonus episode of Chasing Majors to discuss a career reporting on the PGA Tour and his new book, Tiger & Phil: Golf's Most Fascinating Rivalry. Harig developed a close player-reporter relationship with Woods over 20 years that very few others have managed. Harig shares an incredible anecdote of Arnold Palmer having a few drinks and hilariously blasting Tiger Woods for laying up on the final hole of his 2013 Bay Hill victory.
In episode 12, Evin Priest and Steve Williams discuss Rory Sabbatini's awkward calling out of Tiger Woods, multiple times, in 2007 while Woods also faced mounting pressure for his performances in the closing stretches of Majors. Woods went on to silence his critics at the 2007 PGA Championship at Southern Hills, regarded as the hottest Major ever played.
In episode 11, Tiger Woods' ex caddie Steve Williams reveals new details about Woods' win at the 2006 PGA Championship at Medinah (outside Chicago). Woods was grouped with Geoff Ogilvy and Phil Mickelson, and Mickelson's short game coach had made some controversial comments about Woods' game in the lead up. Williams also reveals a hilarious story about the time he accidentally dropped Woods' 9-iron into a water hazard at the Ryder Cup - and what Woods said to his caddie after the blunder.
