The Jimmy Johnson episode 48 of Checkers or Wreckers
Just loving, actually does work.
You sinned and you suck?! Sweet, me too! You're not the only one who thinks their life is a wreck! Jesus is the ultimate healer!
Jesus Christ made you worthy of His Kingdom when He died for you! That's the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Enjoy your walk with Jesus, and don't follow blind leaders who heap loads of self righteous "work" on your back!
Why do we make things so difficult about following Jesus. He came here to make the path easy for us. Remember the whole my "yoke is easy and my burden is light?"
In a world of dream busters and joy leeches, stand firm and be the optimist!
As Christians we've made an agreement to not judge people no matter what. Don't allow your love to grow weary. Don't make decisions on the surface without digging in to find out who people are and why they're like the way they are. Don't have a lazy love.
Are you frustrated with where you're at in life right now? It's all good, God has you right where he wants you. Success is still before you, just get your mind set and be ready for what God has. Learn now to prepare you for later. Complaining hasn't prepared anyone...ever!
Following Jesus Christ makes you strong. Stronger than you were before you knew Christ. In His name, we don't fear anything. We're not timid about anything. Are you living this way?
Too often, many Christians are accidentally playing the role of the Holy Spirit. We can't convert people, that's the Holy Spirit job. But we can provide fertile soil (LOVE) for the Holy Spirit to work!
Beware of who you're taking advice from in regards to the Holy Spirit people. Education, theology, experience, that doesn't mean anything to God. Love, grace, mercy, forgiveness are the roots of the Gospel & the roots of Jesus Christ. Think for yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you. There are too many people that are allowing blind leaders to direct them in the church today.
Jesus died for your sins, so why are you tripping every time you fall back into sin? Not only did Jesus die for your sins, but He died to make you a fighter. Don't lay down, pout and moan you can't stop sinning. Just get back up from that sin and fight it again! God is using your sin to make you stronger! #Fight
Stop with the show of Christianity and start displaying your walk by your actions. Our society can spot a phony from a mile away. Be real, be a servant!
Sitting around complaining about what's wrong with our society won't change a thing. Nehemiah stepped up when his country needed him, and God was right there with him.
Matthew 5:43-48
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Forward Motion
As followers of Christ, we have to follow Jesus' lead. Jesus loved people of all cultures, race, no matter their backgrounds or religious belief. This is our mission.
The Church of Christ needs to forgive itself and move forward in a direction of love and grace, the true gospel message. Forget about the unimportant details of the religion, and seek the true relationship!
Hate is not the answer.
